i started out as a DJ for fun then got some jobs so i stuck with it but i may give it all up from people who have bad taste in music in philly.

well personally i guess u can say that freestyle has influenced my personal life cuz i basically only go to clubs that will play freestyle and whenever there are concerts or bashes to do with freestyle i will mold my social and work schedule to attend. i honestly basically only listen to freestyle in the car even in the background music on my voice mails and when someone asks for song suggestions i usually advise a freestyle song so yeah i think it has had a pretty major influence on my personal/social life...

aaaaaaaaaaait--here's my story, I remember scratchin my first record (electric ave by eddie grant) on my turntable that was INSIDE my television case....remember the long old joints?? turntable to the right then the tv in the middle and the 8track/tuner on the right side in that fancy long case that lookd like a REAl coffin?? anyways....LOl..i scratched the sh*t outta that 45 of electric ave and I THOUGHT I WAS THE SHIZNIT!!!..GAWD KNOWS WHEN THAT WAS..then i started to buy all my friends lp's and 12" singles for gifts then borrow them..LOL..and never return em (shady like that) but as long as they got a mixed tape out of it they were cool...and b4 i knew it i was doin high school dances and block parties by the age 11...and in REAL clubs by 14..and did it till i was 24 as a regular gig...now i do it as a guest appearance and blah blah blah, but durin my late high school years a friend approached me to do some scratches on his hip hop demo, went in the studio AND IT WAS OVER..i was like..this is WHERE i wanna live..it was great ...and still is! and as i got into the production aspect of music...it's just a great way to express yourself and it's somethig that u learn more and more everyday and words cant explain how it feels to hear your music on the radio or even the gratification and inner high when a record company signs your music to their label...between dj'n and producin, i am proud to say what i do, what i've done and what i will continue to do--make people dance and enjoy themselves...that's why i do music (oh..and someday the money will be good too.LOL)...and let's not forget...interacting with the artists, I Love all my artists and i do my best to satisfy their goal and vision of a song or project..i really have a great relationship with everyone i work with--that's such a plus...except for NICK COLON..who bugs the sh*t outta me all the time...he's real nasty....siike....he's a main reason why all the good things are happening in my music career, even outside of freestyle...Nick...u know it man--Me and tribu owe u large!!!!....I hope we can all enjoy the fruits of our labor in the near futur....u r a brother to me man...and an inspiration to all of my-our artists...much love.....and u suck!!..=P ...well that's my looong a$$ story..the edit version..ey willie?? can u make this a multi edit post for me??....Willie valentin..another great guy in the biz...okokok with that..i'm out..Pete (d.o.s.)

This is kinda crazy, but belive it or not, I'm a DJ because of Chuck,D. I play Freestyle, because of Records like "Girl I Am Sarching For", the edits are still Da Shyt, and have found a record to funner to play to this day!!

I LISTEN TO OTHER MUSIC BUT WHEN IT COMES TO LISTENIN TO FREESTYLE I LISTEN WITH MY HEART AND SOUL, I WISH I COULD GO TO EVERY FREESTYLE SHOW, CLUBS ETC..BUT MONEY IS A BIT TIGHT ON MY END..LOL BUT U GUYS REMEMBER TAYLOR DAYNE? TELL IT TO MY HEART I LOVED THA SONG I WAS I WAS 5 OR 6 SINGIN TELL IT TO MY HEART..LOL THAN AS I GOT OLDER I WAS IN MY FREINDS CAR LISTENIN TO GEORGE LAMOND WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE LOVE AND HIS VOICE AND THE WORDS HE SANG MADE MY HEART JUST SINK I WAS ALL CHOKED UP.. IT IS TRULY A GREAT GIFT WHEN WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO WRITE FREESTYLE MUSIC THAT CAN PUT IN WORDS EVERYTHING U WOULD WANT TO SAY TO A BOY FRIEND OR GIRL FRIEND THAT U JUST CANT GET OUT. WHEN WE HAVE PEOPLE LIKE TONY G AND OTHER GREAT ARTIST WHO SIT DOWN AND TALK TO THEIR FANS WHO DONT ACT LIKE THEY ARE BIG SHOTS BC THEY SING, THATS WHEN YOU KNO FREESTYLE IS THE RULER OF ALL MUSIC.
