Thats what I am saying it isnt the job of the artist shit ive been to enough of the shows to know half the time the artist find out they arent performing right before they are suppose to go on. So to state they are unprofessional please go ahead with that the club or the promoters who scheduled the performance has to inform the club goers that there will not be a performance and state there reasons which have the time are BS ones that is exactly why the artist are not allowed to announce. A promoter isnt going to say hey we dont have enough money to pay the act so they wont be going on so they make or give some BS excuse and for the same reason the artist arent allowed to announce they will not be performing. Jack like you said its a shame they got to deal with this BS as well.

Actually, what's horrible for freestyle is that fact that the club owner would try a crappy move like not paying the performers, not that the performers would stand up for their rights and get paid for their work.
 
I say if any1 wants to know how it is in a business such as performing on stage show after show and showing up to a club only to find out that one establishment screwed up and see how it must feel, if any1 does not know how it must be then: "KNOW B4 U SAY SOMETHING" TKA/GL had their reasons...it was the club to notify the peeps/club goers of reasons for they not performing. peaceowt!

I'm glad that most people on this site have an open mind. The problem with people is that they want to just make their own mind up on what happen. Be for real, which one of us will continue to work if we knew we were'nt getting pay.

Please dom't let this matter continue to grow as it has done on other site. As Anthony1971 stated "Let It Die Now"
 
Hey kay this is a forum im just here to talk about freestyle whether it's bad or good, I have nothing against you or the group, to tell you i bump your old skool sh** all the time. Im just saying i know the club owners/promoter's didn't let you guys go on stage i understand, but you guys should have put your foot down. Cause the fans are not their to see the promoters they are their to see you guys the promoters won't care what the fans think cause it won't affect them, by that i mean you guys should have informed the fans. Oh well let just let bygones be bygones

How are they supposed to do that if the club owner (and his hired bouncers) won't let the artists take the stage or onto the dancefloor to talk to the fans?
 
WOW i see we have alot of tka fans here everyone's teaming up on me, well im no promoter or club owner I was just thinking that maybe if they told the club owners that they wanted to step on the stage to inform everyone they might have let them(maybe they did i dont know). By no means am i hateing on them, this is a forum and im here to talk about anything related to freestyle. I think tka is kool, Im not crazy about them but i do like their old skool stuff, by the way whatever happen to Angel the man had nice vocals.
 
There are a lot of fans here of many artist TKA have a lot of supporters for all there years of great music and the fact they do take the time to join us here as well as in our chats. No one is teaming up on you, but I have worked along side promoters and it isnt that easy promoters arent going to give face honestly on why a performance is not performing and the artist have no say on going out on stage to annouce such. Every club owner promoter works differnetly not all handle business this way but there are always politics behind everything in the music industry.

People aren't teaming up on you because they're tka/George Lamond/K7 fans, they're replying to the fact that you came here and started a thread that implied the entire blame for the incident was the fault of TKG. There are 3 sides to this story, the club promoter's side, TKG's side, and the truth, which I'm sure lies somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, because that was gonna happen....🙄 If you owned a club and couldn't pay (or refused to pay) the performers, and you let the performers onstage and they let everyone know that it was your fault, how many peeps do you think you would get back to your club? You'd be out of business soon. No way they were gonna let TKG take the stage to talk to the fans.

You're right, you came here to talk about freestyle. However, like I said before, your post implicated TKG as the people at fault. Until the full story is known (and we may never know it) we should stay neutral on this matter.
 
I don't see anyone teaming up on you. You started a thread and you got responses. Thats why threads are started. As for alot of TKA/G fans here well yeah there are and thats because in my opinion they are the greatest freestyle group and to hear people hating, bashing or whatever you want to call it upsets me. Don't be quick to assume on things you have no knowledge of. You don't know the story.

Lets all calm down now, like i said i heard it from a friend of mine who was their, true i may not have known the whole story but if i wouldn't have post it up then i would have never known what realy happen. There are alot of people here that assume things that may not be the most accurate but hey thats part of life. And chuckD if it was Stevie B and i heard the same i would have done the exact same thing cause i would have liked to get to the bottom of it makes no difference to me i always like to speake the truth buddy.
 
As you stated you didnt know the whole story so to make a comment such as you did was uncalled for the question was asked prior and a statment given if I recall Heidee re posted it here in this thread.

i am just reading this now...and damn thats a shame that club date turned out that way...cause i did hear a part of the interview with judy on ktu and that night really did seem to be much anticipated by the group

I was just posting my opinions like everyone else or do you only want to hear what you whant to hear? Cause if it's like that i can be fake for you since i can't express my true opinion.
