Edwin, you seem to have avoided the answer of whether or not the new TKA project includes Freestyle. Regardless, you are asolutely correct - the world didn't stop when TKA parted ways in 1992 and life has continued on without them ever since. It would be nice to have them back on the Freestyle scene (Summer 2000 NOT INCLUDED), but like you said "Oh well"...

as far as i know,yes there will be quite a few freestyle tracks on the new album in fact alot more than Pop songs.I have only done 1 song for them and again i must say that it will probably end up not being on the album.I think they have about 8 or 9 songs ready though.Hang in there for them they'll need your support.
 
Edwin...That is excellent news. Thank you for the update. As long as they continue to do what they do best (Freestyle) I will continue to buy their material.

About TKA, I must say that I myself was dissapointed, just like Rhog, Francis, and half of the world.....but you know they are now probably in their 30s, and have all whole different way of living, they have resposibilities, and also are looking at the whole music scene and looking for a direction where they can express the way they feel as a group, I dont think we as fans should put pressure on them, I am sure they will make it worth the wait. And my bad to sound so blah, and talking caca....But in my heart, I dont think they will actually leave us the fans, behind, I have listen to When I will see you again, and its a phat song, thats freestyle, so we must sit wait patiently, and hope they will come through and make it big and put a top 10 fresstyle song on the billboard charts... I know thats its hard especially when people like India, Marc Anthony, Luis Damon, and a few others, (except George,,,, 🙂... never came back...but we must keep the faith.....lol....peace...
 
i cant get used to just Kayel being the lead vocalist in the group. i miss aby so much. he had a pretty nice voice. but i guess if its good, ill buy the next album. tka i think have always had a delay in their album releases, so whats new, you know. and im sorry for misinforming everyone about the album drop, i went by what tka said in their interview on here, but as you can see i was right about edwin knowing about this.
 
This might sound corny to you guys but they were recently on a show on cable called Club LaBomba and they told Sophia Vergara that they were back together and planned to release a new album.

That show has alot of the old freestyle people on it. I've seen Cynthia, Two in A Room (now part of Fulanito)and George Lamond. I know it sounds stupid, but alot of these singers have crossed over into the Latin market, so they are on this show. Just thought I'd share that with you guys.
 
lilitaliana, that news is way old now!! that segment of the show is at least 8 months old and is major re-run format. if you read my post way before yours, i tell all that they are indeed back together. i was hangin with them @ LATIN QUARTERS w/LEGIT & NAYOBE. and ORGNATR1, as for you missing ABY as the lead singer......WELL....he hasnt been the lead singer in a lon time. if you miss him that much, you can catch him on DOS FREESTYLE RECORDS w/ his new material. now, let me say this once and once and for all TKA IS BACK TOGETHER. HAVE BEEN FOR NEARLY A YEAR ALL READY.

I spend almost 24 hours a day in the court room, so I am out of touch with what's up in the freestyle world....I rarely watch TV and when I did I guess I caught an old Club La Bomba!!!!!!

PS: I wasn't a big fan of Aby---so I'm not missing him!!
 
Truly....that episode of "Club La Bomba," is so old it went out with "the wop."

Kenny--- I am in Manhattan and I am an 18B lawyer...I go to court 24 hours a day if neccessary....it sucks to be in Manhattan.....
 
omg now we got a new update which says only two or three new songs, is this true????? all i know is that it is being delayed to damn long...to much time for us all to claw eachothers eyes out about the subject...TKA PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!! and btw i dont buy the crap they all have responsiblies and they are 30 and blah blah blah, that is such a damn excuse, lamond came out with an english and salsa album at the same time...so please dont make excuses for tka, PLEASE!!!! dont help them slack off 🙂

We are still doing it. I appologize to the fans who have stuck with us through all the politics that involve this industry. But that and that alone is what has been the hold-up. We have since eliminated those distractions and those detractors and have since moved on. I wish I could have made you all aware sooner. TKA "Forever" will be released this summer. We will hit you with a new single, new album and visuals(as in videos) to boot. I again appologize for this lengthy delay. Smile Rhoq and Toni.

VIDEOS? ON WHAT CHANNEL?? MTV? NO WAY THEY ONLY PLAY HIP HOP AND KID ROCK OR BRITNEY SPEARS. I KNOW TKA HAD A VIDEO ON THE BOX IN LIKE 1992 BUT THE BOX ISN'T REALLY AVAILABLE IN THE NYC AREA. WILL THEY BE RELEASING A GREATEST HITS DVD? THAT WOULD WORK.... IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE IF VH1 WOULD DO A WHERE ARE THEY NOW? T.K.A. EPISODE I THINK THAT WOULD SET ALL THIS ARGUING STRAIGHT.
