I am excited about this new venture, but there was something I was thinking about. A New Day is supposed to be a double disc CD with one disc containing Freestyle music. But will this disc have NEW Freestyle material on it or will it just have T,K, and GL singing together remakes of previous TKA and GL hits? I wouldn't mind a track or possibly two being remakes, but I don't want to hear an entire CD of remakes. Please tell me that there is new and original Freestyle on this album!

The "2 CD/Double Album" is an unconfirmed rumor at this point. I wouldn't assume the album contains a second CD entirely made up of Freestyle songs until the members of TKA make an official announcement. It would be a huge mistake to remake any of thier older material, whether it be a TKA or George LaMond classic. Freestyle needs new material, not retreads of something stale and old.

From what I have heard, if the new album is only a single-disc release, it will contain a handful (3 or 4) of new Freestyle material while the rest of the album will be a mix of R&B, pop and ballads.

I don't think Freestyle fans will have a reason to worry this time around.
 
Ok, I might sound a little protective of freestyle music, but I am praying that their new cd has a nice amount of it included.

I do love a great ballad though. lol

I can't wait for the cd to be released.... Keep us updated.

Even if it is a 2-disc release and one or two songs are remakes, whats the big deal? I would love to hear some of the classice remade (DON'T BE AFRAID......hint-hint!)

I can't wait till their new material comes out. I love that group so much, anything they come out with im sure will sound very good. I continue to wish them health and sucess and you be damn sure i'll be the first one to have their new stuff. Can't wait....
 
4everfreestyle get real! freestyle music isnt going anywhere and you and i both know that.well i cant speak for you. but i can speak for alot of people that do agree with me.just let TKA expand the way they wish and if making a different genre of music is there choice support TKA no matter what.just support those brothers.i like the old school freestyle music but now adays they wont ever give it the time of day.the music industry is too competetive right now,the best way for TKA too make it is if they concentrate more on modern RB and pop music and latin music.they would be better off too slowly give up making freestyle music completely,because they will sound more up too date making a more popular genre of music.its time for TKA to grow and they will if they leave freestyle music behind completely.if they do freestyle music they are going to be labeled as just a underground freestyle group.freestyle music is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ing dead.keep it real and learn to accept the direction TKA is going.i support the new TKA. forget freestyle music that kind of music was good back then when they used to breakdance on the streets.that music just doesnt fit in this new time zone we are living.the music is played out fellas.but i still support my favorite group of freestyle which is tka,but im ready for the new tkaand i respect what they decide to do.
 
Thats gonna be great thanks for the info, when tka was on latino mix 105.9 like two weeks ago, they said a new day is gonna have a mix of everything, dance, slow, and freestyle, I heard that one slow song i forgot the name and it was really good!!!...its gonna be great.
 
I for one just cant waite untill the new album comes out, im buying it regardless of the genre they choose.

GL was on LatinoMix a couple of weeks ago and HE was the one who said that it would be a double disc venture with one CD of Freestyle and the other R&B, Pop, etc...

In regards to the first single, I've been talking to
Tony yesterday, and George this afternoon, about this.
They tell me, they understand you all wanting to know
whats going on, and that you are all anxiously awaiting
this New Production, and they appreciate it. They ask
that you hold off just a bit longer. The final stages are
at hand, however, there are still Details being worked out.

Therefore, I am unable to give you a definitive Release Date
for the 1st Single, or the CD itself. The plan -is- to have
a 2nd CD, as mentioned. If this changes, we'll let you know.
However, the guyz are Very Optimistic about all the Projects
and "Surprises" they have Instore for you all. This is unlike
anything, TKA or George Lamond have ever put out before!
It will definately be worth the wait! We will have more info
within a month or so... "good things come to those who wait!"

Not Eliminate Credibility. I speak to Tony, Kay, and George, and
their Managers, almost everyday, just to keep you all informed..
If I come on here on their behalf, its with their own approval or
request for that matter. The info I give you is what they've told
me I can give you. I think the fans deserve to know as much or
