I just watched it. Wish I had known it was on this a.m. Anyway, I thought it was great! Much success to them all as a group. George is a great addition and brings his own unique talents to the group.

kay has got the biggest point......freestyle on wb11..mainstream here in ny nj area....its true what the guy says....they cant win...wtf who cares what they looked like, they kick asss...im in no way hating on people opinion but just give them a break!!!

Believe it or not, how they look and dance is VERY important. Yes, it's important that freestyle gets mainstream exposure, but if the artists put on a performance that looks "unrehearsed" or "amateur", it won't matter. It will hurt freestyle more than help.

Remember, if freestyle is going to be accepted by mainstream audiences, they have to take the genre seriously!
 
Im sorry as much as i would like to see the guys make it, AnthonyA is right they looked a little unrehearsed for tv.

i totally agree -

i have seen some of our all-time favorites on stage over the last 2 years, and I hate to say it, but a few have to work on themselves. unless you have no intention or a care in the world about getting back in the limelight, then continue what you are doing.

But if that isn't the case then every effort should be made to work on your voice, your look, and your stage performance. You never know who is in the audience just waiting to sign you up!

Opinions are just that. We shouldn't take another man's opinion to heart. We all know what we have to do for ourselves to be happy within our selves.

It just seems like for a few of us... When it comes to certain groups. Some of us are constantly negative, even in the face of probably the strongest and most consistant showing freestyle has had on mainstream television in a while. That's two appearances in what? Less than two months?? (or something like that)

You are all here to keep this art form alive. Some of us are obviously here to make sure it gets the proper burial. You can pick and choose your sides accordingly.

One opinion will not make or break any of us, but when the object of survuval is to win EVERY battle...
Wouldn't one think that giving eachother support, encouragement, and staying strong as a unit or a community is far more important than trying to break out the fashion police?

It's so much deeper than TKA on WPIX...
It's YOUR favorite MUSIC on WPIX.
Every opportunity is a chance, but divided you will fall..

But like a lot of yours here, that is only MY opinion.

I think they sounded fine, I miss the "A" in TKA though 🙁

& I also have to agree with Anthony, that look did not really fit George, in my opinion
 
Im just really grateful that my all time favorite group TKA was given the opportunity to perform on a network news morning show. It's fine to give your opinions because you think it will benefit them, but at the same time dont put them down too much. And just remember...WE are the ones who support them, and if we, the hardcore fans put them down, why wouldnt they just walk away from freestyle, leaving us to wonder why?? I have always loved TKA and George LaMond....and I want them to succeed. Keep up the great work guys!!

im just happy we got to see tka and george lamond sing on tv,i think
it is a good opportunity for them in general for promoting the new album.the only thing i was dissapointed with was the fact that they had no dance routine prepared for their appearance.i wonder why didnt they have a dance routine?TKA is always known for putting a great dance performance.they did say something about appearing on the show again to perform their new material.george lamond mentioned that they are already 11 songs deep into the new album so thats real good.i think they have some kind of connections with the people on wb11,tHATS FOR SURE.MAYBE TKG OR A WILL DANCE ON TV THE NEXT TIME THEY SHOW UP.IM HOPING THAT THEY DO,CAUSE THEY REALLY REPRESENT WHEN THEY SING AND DANCE.I DONT KNOW WELL SEE NEXT TIME AROUND.
 
I saw the performance. I was happy to see it. I enjoyed the fact that they didnt lip cinq. they sung it live. how many artists even bother doing that nowadays? good display of vocal talent.

Let me just say that George LaMond, Tony, and Kayel can blow away most of today's artists with their voices, talent, and looks. I thought they sounded and looked fine on the WB...and just remember, their act can always be refined. Given the chance, they can go farther than they ever did before. So let's support them and help make this happen for them.

They couldn't have picked a better way of doing an on air performance. The time was of the essence, also. Many people are up and getting ready for work and watch the news in the morning. What a better way to wake up?

Now, if i had a TV show, TKA would be one of my choices to put on air!
