O.K., TINA ANN... Yesterday I went to virgin records; the main reason for this was to listen to TINA ANN, in which I was told it was on the listening station when they got tired of me calling about it after I had put it on hold. I always knew about TINA but never gave too much interest until I heard that song about another man which had a good beat. Then one night I heard on the radio a commercial promotion about TINA ANN and heard the breakbeat remix of "TOO LATE" which made me wonder if any other songs had a freestyle style. (This is when I called to find out what the name of the remixes on her c.d. were called - call #3.) I arrived to Virgin Records and began to listen to her album. The intro made it sound interesting but I skipped to the second song because I began to realize the intro was not an actual song. As the second song proceeded on, I was convinced to buy the album because I assumed that if I only knew 3 songs on her album ("Too late" from the commercial, "...another man" from Kazaa, and the one I was currently listening to) and 2 out of those three were freestyle, then she must have more freestyle songs on there. (Track 2 reminded me of PINAY's style of a dance track - a planet hype style.) I went on to song number 3,4,5,6,7,8,......... and there were no freestyle songs other than the "Too Late" breakbeat remix and song #2. Some of the songs sounded nice, but I left the store without the album because it didn't claim my interest for buying it. I knew the buses stopped running at a certain time so I had to ride my bike home from the airport - which took 1 hour 10 minutes. I knew this would happen but I really wanted to hear "TINA ANN" so I took that chance. I don't know whether or not I could say her album was either good or bad, but just because I didn't purchase it, that doesn't mean you shouldn't consider it! You may like songs with a very good trance rhythm sound, but I went to Virgin with my mind set on getting something with a freestyle/breakbeat sound and this just wasn't her album.

Trance lovers will love and get a lot out of this album.

Freestyle lovers may accept that there are 2 freestyle/breakbeat songs, but may be dissapointed with the fact that their expectations where not quite satisfied.

Dance music lovers would like the fact that The entire album is a dance - uptempo album with no slow songs.

D.J.'s would like the fact that there are extended remixes available on the c.d. that could be used for mixing.

-That's all the info I'm willing to leave now because I'm getting tired and beginning to fall asleep. I guess next time an album "drops" I wont go out for it if I know that the busses will stop running at a certain time during my trip back, I'll end up getting home at 12:30, end up sleeping at 2:30 when I must wake up at 6:00a for work!
I cannot continue - the sleep is taking over.

-however I did end up ordering Christina Marie and walking away with Dana Rayne.

Tinaanns album is really good I bought it last week its very good with remixes and everything my advice just get it already.

I'm kind of starting to want to get TINA ANN but at the same time thinking I should just save my money for promo c.d.'s that only d.j.'s could get. I've only heard the beginning of her songs - before the rhythm began to kick in so I don't know really how much I like it. I just got home from the club and I should go to sleep now because all I did all day was fall asleep on the bus on the way home from work and that was only 2 fifteen minute bus rides! I pulled the string to get off at the next stop and fell asleep before the bus even reached that stop! I almost went out in the club. I was all ready to play TINA ANN "don't want another man" at the club and not many people showed up. None of the d.j.'s played any dance music at all anyway and I didn't feel like hearing any complaints so I just stuck with hip hop. This is the first time in history I've ever not played anything faster than 110 b.p.m. in the club!

How could I play TINA ANN if I don't have her album?
-forget it - don't try to figure it out. Too tired to explain.
