Is there any truth to a rumor I heard a long time ago that Tina B did not do the vocals for "January February"? I had heard from someone who used to work in the record pools that the song was in demo form with a session singer's scratch vocals and that singer's vocals were left on the track but Criminal Records still put it out as a Tina B single. I'm not saying this is true, I just want to know if anyone else heard that story or something similar to it.

Well maybe that was the case back then, but the voice I hear on her G-Hits cd sounds very much like her. I'm thinking that at the time of the release of the song.... Tina B was actually the one who ended up singing the song. Maybe the rumor you heard was true to a certain extent. People tend to exaggerrate things.

Another tuff one!!! "Honey To A Be" slightly edging out "January/February". The beginning of "Honey" with just the beat & sampled Honey-Honey-Honey-Honey-Honey Bee-Honey Bee was one of those sounds that made me want to create music. A freestyle classic!!!
