It will be great for the GL to do a greatests hits album in Spanish, when I but the Creo En Ti album and so Bad of the heart in there I thought it will be in spanish, but all he did was he's greatest love song in spanish. But like Cypress hill did there album in spanish which I haven't found, I wish GL would do the same.....😀

If George Lamond was to record in Spanish, i would prefer that he record original material...and not just translate his English songs into Spanish...i've never liked the idea of translating songs...an artist should take the time to record original songs in other languages...since simply translating a song usually takes away the meaning of the original song...there are not too many good "translated" Freestyle songs out there...
 
i agree with you arturo....often they try to translate the songs word for word ...which sounds completely awkward in spanish!
one song that was translated beautifully tho was LAW's Missing Your Love....Extraño Tu Amor. Those lyrics just flowed and it kept the same meaning as the english version 🙂
 
I HAVE TO AGREE WITH ARTURO, IF GL RECORDS A SPANISH GREATEST HITS, THEY SHOULD BE ORIGINAL WORK. NOT ANY TRANSLATED FS HITS B/C IT'LL PROBABLY LOSE THE "LOOSE" TOUCH IN THE TRANSLATION. HAHA, BUT SERIOUSLY...

Toni, i never said i was waiting for new songs from George...all i said is that if he decides to record anything in Spanish, then he should record original material...that's all. But i am not waiting for it, if he does that's cool, and if he doesn't that's cool too.
 
nah...i'll tell you what i'm waiting for....i'm waiting for Coro's follow up album. I wrote him way back in '92 and he said he was working on it...*LOL*
