Neither do I....but I don't appreciated my memories being trashed in order to make a point...How long before Big Bird bites the dust?

haha I was totally kidding of course.. 🙂 altho ya think Hefty, Handy & Smurfette ever had a threesome??? :heee

Oh come one......"Hefty"??? Please. Don't you remember he and "Clumsy" always hung out together????

They were a gay couple. Hefty was the butch, Clumsy was the femme.

And Vanity was the queen.

I don't know why why people are getting offended by this commercial...yes it's the much loved Smurfs but they are just cartoons drawings on paper after all...why is no one getting offended that real people and children made out of flesh are out there getting bombed and suffering...just boggles the mind

It's like i said before Sonya...some people have already seen the real life images of war-torn countries, and their victims...it was meant to get the attention of people who have resigned themselves into believing that there is nothing that can be done, so why stress it? I have a bone to pick with it because it seems the USA thrives on controversy, and should the ad air on US TV, I don't think that we will show tact and put them on, say, when the kids come home from school...but then again, the teachers in this country might take it upon themselves to make the children aware, which isn't the demographic that the ad is aimed at.

Actually, if you read the article that accompanies the clip, it says.....

UNICEF and IMPS, the family company that controls all rights to the Smurfs, have stipulated that it is not to be broadcast before 9 p.m.

Belgian television viewers were given a preview of the commercial earlier this week, when it was shown on the main evening news. Reactions ranged from approval to shock and, in the case of small children who saw the episode by accident, wailing terror.
