aka dj paradise... theres certain things youve really got to be into to truly understand the talent..the work behind the secnes.for instance..i am a taekwondo stylist (korean martial arts) so i know of the tops in the world ..jhoon rhee..hee ii cho..sang kim..not in any action movies but i know of them because thier in my interest and the tops in my interest..many others would say who??? these guys can kick and use there legs easier then most people use there hands !! make jet li look like a novice martial artist..i know of them so i am in awe of thier talent.. i love art so i know of Dali and Botero and picaso.. i know of thier talent in a different perspective then people who just casually say they are "into art"..i know how really taltented they are or were..being a painter..i understand more.. the prespective the scheme of color..the imagination involved in creating that painting that these artist are famous for!!...being a trumpet player i know of maynard fuergeson(the guy who played the trumpet rifts in all the rocky songs!) and dizzy gilepsee or herb albert.. again you really have to be into that to understand how hard it really is to hit those high notes on a trumpet..and most latin salsa trumpet players are great and unmentioned but i know being a trumpet player..latin trumpet players are some of the best in the world.."salsa music!!" you really have to be into it to understand what a talent such singers as gilberto santa rosa or ruben blades are!! these guys are both living legends!!!( yet most new yoricans know more of eminems biography or 50 cent!! then the background of these two latin artist))...then there is what brings us all here .. "freestyle music"!!!!!..and me being really into it (and all of us) weve got TKA our very own Naya..George Lamond (who swears he can sing better then me).Johnny O..Tony Moran..Safire..Judy Torres ..Coro.Ctnthia...Clear Touch..Angel Menya..Sam Savon.. etc.. and freestyle DJ'S .. me being a former DJ knowing how hard it is to mix sounds and create edits..and mega mixes..ive just heard in the last few days some of this guys work....the guy is amazing..I had to pull over today on the highway on the way home from work.and rewind his nayasia edit mix and wonder "how the hell did he do that!!?? and the safire mix and the george lamond....and wonder how can talent like that be in the shadows??this guy would make "bad boy johnny" (aka bad mix overplayed classics) or any of the KTU DJS here in new york look like it was thier first day on the job!! his charlie baby remix is incredible!!DJ paradise..im one of the most bluntly critical of the members here on CF.. ask anyone.. but i humbly bow and give you a huge shout out!! and the next time i see you i promise not to scare you.lol...you the man bro!! love your skills!!:cool

TAEZEE Great thread to my friend DJ PAradise. I happen to agree with you 100%. After listening to his "SAFIRE EDIT MIX" I emailed him (this was maybe a year or two ago) ever since then I have always told him how i thought he ws incredible. I call him DJ "MAGIC FINGERS" much to his dismay!..lolol but because I love the way he mixes, I had to ask him to do my showtape for me, but after listening to what he did to the "Nyasia Edit mix" I was so impressed that I asked him to please do my new showtape.and of course it came out just as great as his edit mix! and on top of beign a genious on the wheels of steel, he is also a terrific friend.

SO here's to you DJ "MAGIC FINGERS"!😉 from the bottom of my bellybutton!..LOLOLOL
 
What a great post Javi! No wonder you didn't answer my IM...too busy composing this thread to honor one of if not the GREATEST DJ's I've had the pleasure of hearing live and meeting. He's very humble and that's something to be commended in this day and age of "ME ME ME"

My hats off to you Paradise! Muahzzzzz! Keep up the great work and you know you have my support always! 🙂

That is one of the coolest things I've read about me,lol.
Many peeps do not see what I do as a skill. Slap a record or cd on and thats it.
It's going on 23 years of doing what I do and have had great times but ran into some holes along the way.
Worked at many great clubs, met many artist and fans, worked on some college stations and now, the internet radio show.
I've been blessed with what I have achieved, with help of my partners, friends, artist & websites.
The internet show & my edit mixes was what got my name buzzing around. It is alot of hard work but the rewards are great.
Meeting and working with many talented artist is probably the greatest thing, but can't forget all the fans I've met through the clubs, email & chatrooms.
Yo, it's simple... I LOVE FREESTYLE and all the people involved,
