I was at PLASTIQUE last night with a few of my friends..........it happened to be FREESTYLE FRIDAY.............and on top of that it happened to be DJ CONSTANTINES B-DAY.......they also happened to play more freestyle that night than any other freestyle friday..........during the night either SCOTT FOXX OR DJ CONSTANTINE was on the mic asking who the TRUE FREESTYLE fans were.............suprisingly everyone began to scream and yell.................like they were freestyle fans............and the song they played while the yelling was going on was PANDERA - NIGHT & DAY (FREESTYLE PROJECT REMIX)..............now keeping in mind all the people in PLASTIQUE were true freestyle fans...........had no clue what the song was............everyone calmed down real fast and began to kinda dance to a song they never even knew was FREESTYLE........but oh yeah they are all true freestyle fans............every single one of them..........me and buddy of mine looked as if we only new the song, everyone else was lost...........WHAT A LAUGH IF U ASK ME..............

HOW CAN U CLAIM TO BE A TRUE FREESTYLE FAN WHEN U DONT EVEN KNOW 10 OTHER FREESTYLE SONGS, THAN DJ CONSTANTINE PLAYS.............

bro..im a true freestlye fan and i just found out about Pandera - Day and Night yesterday in my buddiies car......does that make me not a freestyle fan? ITs The BEsT SonG right now i think....but i bet i have about 100 songs i would name and you would be like "Hugh?"
 
cubanguy said it, I'm a freestyle fan, but just cause I don't know that song doesn't mean much. I'm into the local progressive style, that's what I like, that's mainly what I know.
 
The Freestyle is inside you. You don't need to know every single song's name or every artist/group for that matter. My 2 cents.

It's not how many songs you know nuff said, but mario makes a small point in TO everyone is a freestyle fan when the freestyle comes on but say they don't like freestyle when it's off. I was at a bad greek club of Friday and everyone was dancing and having a great time but no one wanted to hear freestyle exept for me and a buddy. When they played 3 freestyle songs (yah only 3) the entire place went crazy even the people that said freestyle sucks i hope they don't play any got up and started dancing!

I have gotten into argument after argument telling ppl that i love my freestyle, just like the gay ppl "I'm loud and I'm proud" some thing like that.
There are quite a few freestyle songs that I read on the board that I never heard of b4, but am always eager to hear them.
I personally respect all freestyle songs, good or bad, I give my support wherever I can; its about keeping the freestyle vibe alive.
And one of the purposes for this board is to educate each other as communty about the latest in freestyle tracks, events, concerts and so forth.

Well said folks. FreestyleFreak, I agree w/what you say, lotsa "closet" Freestyle fans in T.O, it's sad. I'm a Freestyle fan, and everyone knows it! 🙂
 
Whoa ! Everyone is throwing their 2 cents worth around, hold on to that money folks!! If not throw it my way hahahah, but nonetheless, Yes , there are what we call "closet freestylers" out there who are afraid of saying the "like freestyle", but who cares, like you gentlemen say, "I love it and who cares what anybody else thinks" right on!! That's the attitude to have, if I got persuaded by people's comment years ago about being teased by freestyle, I wouldn't be writing these little messages on this site!!! IF YA LIKE THE MUSIC ,PUMP IT!!!, who gives a rusty-you-know-what, what people say bout the Freestyle tunes, art is an expression, and we should all express how we feel!!!😎

Looks like I am broke then. I have never heard of them either. But I wouldn't spend my last 2 cents on their song either.
 
Pandera and Freestyle Project

I believe they come out of Germany. Canada seems to get more freestyle from Europe. Germany seems to have a more open door than the US regarding freestyle.
 
OK, here's my 2 cents

Not to start no trouble with my Northern Freestylers, but youse guys consider alot of Euro to be Freestyle. It's all good, please don't get upset with me. It's just that people tend to brand things differently.
 
i have the song and ive heard it ....... to me i think people are just hypeing it ...............i think it blows! ....... ill stick with my "pure pleazure" and "coro"

i am sorry i forgot to mention it in my post.............but its the fact that all TORONTONIANS claim to be freestyle fans.............i didnt mean if you dont know a freestyle song doesnt mean ur not a TRUE FREESTYLE FAN, its all the people who claim to be a fan but couldnt tell you any other songs than whats played on the radio.......i hope i didnt mean any disrespect to all you all people..........and yes i do know LUNICA DONNA PER ME...........its just that we have all these so called fans..........when they really arent..........thats all what i meant to say.............hope i never pissed anyone off
 
Okay I understand. You see I probably never heard that song because your all the way in Toronto and Im all the way in New York City.😉
