These Eyes

Have you thought what it might be like,
to view life through my eyes?
Look into them,
what do you see?
Sure, you see the happy eyes:
bright, shiny, full of life and energy.
But what about what you don't see?
Look beneath the exterior
and you'll discover a side few do:
hidden anguish, hurt, anger, depression,
rage and glistening tears.
The expression goes
"the eyes don't lie."
So true!-I try to conceal all
with smiles and laughter.
But if you take a moment,
look into MY eyes,
maybe then you'll catch a glimpse
of the real me.

well my first poem was to my mommy,,, umm i got second place damn i can still remember it went like his

oh mami, tu eres mi amiga, tu eres mi sabana

oh mami eres tan bella como una flor, roja sauave,


oh mami te amo, te quiero y cada ves que te veo digo haci


tu ojos son como dos luceros que alumbram todos los basureros!

(*mess up on the last part what i mean to say was, todo mi cendero!!) lol then i got really into i heheh but i least i won something heheh
