Im 16 and i discovered freestyle music when i was 13 in the 8th grade. One sunday night i happened to turn on to KTU and tuned in to Judy Torres Freestyle Free For All and listened until it was over at 11:00 pm. Just listening to this music gives me a sense of rythym in my heart and soul and the voices are mesmorizing. I tried telling people about this music and no one i knew was interested. Sometimes i think I'm the only person at my school who liked freestyle. While everyone was making a big deal about N'Sync I always said TKA was way better and how the words just grasp on to u and u learn the songs "just like that". I remember one of the first songs i heard was Silent Morning by Noel and is still my favorite to this day.
Now to my main point: Where are the teenagers? Where is the freestyle generation? If you are out there contact me so that we can share thoughts about this electrifying genre of music. If ur between the ages of 13 and 18 email me at ghettolilangel555@yahoo.com.

that's cool that u're that young and into freestyle music. a lot of us started out liking freestyle when we were young too, it's just that that was over a decade ago!!! welcome, coro's girl, and keep pumpin that freestyle!

I AM ALSO GLAD THAT THOSE OLD-TIMERS LIKE YOURSELF KEEP REPRESENTIN ALSO AND ARE FEELIN THE MUSIC AS WELL😛
 
there are not many younger kids out there that appreciate freestyle but they are out there! diane and i have one in training now and i think hes ready for graduation at age 6!! all he keeps singing is "maria" and "whos got you love"!!!

I am 14 and loved Freestyle forever...I went to school..actually..I go to school with a TKA chain on...LOL...Your right...This music cant be compared to N'sync and all them other Popsters...LOL...Freestyle is the BEST! I would say more, but I figure since this is my fav topic and I am young...Id type forever...😉
 
Ok actually I am not done..I just cant shutup..LOL!!

There arent many youngsters out there who have a care for a music who think that freestyle is OLD and DEAD. My mom baby sits 2 little girls..One is 8 months old, and the other just turned one. I got the little one year old to dance to Maria-TKA, and it brought tears to my eyes..LOL! The only thing I listen to, and my parents...Is FREESTYLE. My next door neighbors know some of the songs now since they hear it blasted every day.

What gets to me is that some people just dont care nemore about the music we love. I have always loved Freestyle even when I listen to dance and other types of music, and I always will. People say Freestyle died, I really dont think so. It has only died to me when it doesnt get air play..when the artists doesnt perform, and when there are sites with no more fans to show support. that is when it dies, until then..TOO BAD..cause as long as we..The young generation and the past generation show love and support...Freestyle aint goin newhere...:hearton

I just turned 19 and i love freestyle...like coros girl said, we'd be listening to freestyle and our friends are like "what the hell are you listening to". i was blasting TKA and NOEL, while my crew was blasting WU-TANG...So coros girl you are not alone....FREESTYLE is the greastest....great voices with great lyrics and great beats....The triple threat i guess!!!!!Ive turned anti-freestylers into mega freestylers!!! so all the haters got to do is give it a chance... and soon they will buy bad boy joe's freestyle cd's.....youll see!!!!!

I'm 19 but i been on here reppin freestyle ever since this site opened or around the birth of it. there r alot of peeps in the bay area that like freestyle like half of my crew loves it a lot of the time all we do is play it loud and talk about it. there is hope for the younger generation. i plan on turnin my lil 2 year old niece/godaughter into a freestyle freak. hehe she be dancin 2 britney spears now but ill change that 🙂
 
There is so much Freestyle music for you to hear...You are in for a treat!!!
 
hey coro's girl, I like freestyle too and I've been liking it since the 8th grade as well. unfortunately at my school I'm kinda alone because it's full of skaters and the female equivalent who are crazy about people like sum 41 and simple plan (ew!). it's nice to see people my age who listen to the same stuff I do 🙂
