Just for curiosity, what are the worst freestyle songs have you guys ever heard? I don't intend to start aguments over here and I hope people can respect each other tastes, but in my humble opinion there are some freestyle tracks which should have never been made

Some songs that I hate:
Always remember - Carlos
Ever since I met you - Renee
Don't take your love away - Spicy

These 3 pieces of crap can be found on boca freestyle vol.1

I absolutely hate "As you held me"
I know I'm gonna get shit for this. This girl has the worst voice I've ever heard. She sounds like she has a cold.
 
Tine that Alabama freestyle artist is pretty wack,Buffy sounded dumb,Joe Zangie was very wack and Lorenzo D'Lan sounded terrible they almost ruined Freestyle!Thankfully great new school music FREESTYLE artists and music groups like Latin Nation,Diamante,K7,Angelina,Spanish Fly and Synthia Figueroa came to freestyle just in time and saved our music aswell as preserved the artistic greatness of our music with their great vocals,well written songs and top notch productions!Pure Pleasure were great singers but did not have good productions and song writing to make them stars and to survive.In Freestyle to survive you must have both style and substance just like TKA,CYNTHIA,GEORGE LAMOND and ANGELINA that's why the look so great,sing so soulfully,have deep lyrics of love and great party anthems aswell as top of the line song writing and musical production,they are a complete package.Pure Pleasure lacked that.As far as Cynthia's "Love Me Tonight" she sang it perfectly,it was a great song and it had a perfect dance beat that was in fashion back in 1992 when se recorded it.GOD Bless,Omar 😉
 
Joey Gold - Devil In My Heart circa 1991 ...id be surprised if anyones heard it. (there r sooo many to list of the new freestyle that id rather choose from the early years)
 
Probably going to get it for this....

"Can't we Try" is a cheesey remake of the original heartfelt duet (although is one of the songs that brought freestyle back) and once a song is done well, should not be remade.

I also beleive Rockell has a strong voice and, so far, has only utilized it's full potential in "I Fell in Love". I would love to hear her do another one like that, who did the production on that?
 
Oh, where to begin lol....

1. Vicki Ryan "Love Is Gonna Get You Tonight": Micmac's first release ever (what a way to make a first impression), and what is hilarious is that this song was originally meant to be the first release for Judy Torres! This is a truly awful song with horrible lyrics.

2. Anything on Micmac records AFTER 1990 that isn't by any of their "signature" artists (in other words, any Micmac record that's by an artist that you look at say 'who the hell is this?') A good example is something like Nancy Otero "Dedicate My Love". Don't even ask.....

3. Half of Metropolitan record's entire catalogue should be burned in a huge bonfire. LatinRazcal mentioned Joey Gold "Devil In My Heart". I would personally use that record to light the torch. And I HATE April's voice, I don't care what anyone says, she sounds like a hyperactive three year old girl.

That song is the sh*t.. Joey Gold was a great producer. vocally hmmm..
Pure Pleazure is so great too, both vocally and musically.
I love the Lorenzo D'lan songs too.. Don't care to much about Angelina or K7 (Wasn't that the whack rap group that made Swing Battta batta bata Swing). Adelis - As You Held Me is a straight up Whack song too, vocally, and the production sucks on that one also.
Voice In Fashion - Only In The Night, PHAT SONG, Solid Martineé production. Bernardo is slammin.
I dont wanna hear 99% of Rockells songs. Honestly I don't care too much about TKA either.. They've had I would say 3 or four Good songs, that's much for the average Freestyle artist, but not for a group that has two full length albums.
I like: Is It Love (w. Tony Moran), Louder Than Love, Give Your Love To Me.. Hmmm gotta take one from their first album... Scars Of Love.
Too bad that L.A.W didn't get the attention they Deserved, they had the best vocals and top notch production. You could bring on ten TKA's you still wouldn't get near the vocals or beats that L.A.W display on their three songs. If that group would have had an album, Oh my God!


One Song I never liked, (I know I will get comments on this one: SOAVE - CRYING OVER YOU... The beats are fat and all that, but when Soave starts singing I'm Like Damn.... Why he had to ruin the song with his poor vocals... He sounds premature and messed up.
I HATE C-BANK - I WON't STOP LOVING YOU, I hate that song with all my heart.. What was MGEM thinking.. They're some of my Fav producers usually, but this song is violating Freestyle. The chorus must be some of the most stupid lines ever written. The Bassline is F*cked up, sounding like they did this song on a Commodore 64 or something.
Perfect, is a solid C-Bank Jam though.
SEGMENT 12 - Let's Find A Way, Is Just Pure Cheesyness, So is 99% of all new Freestyle also.
