Ok...fess up. Who watched the Three's Company story on NBC last night? I sure as hell did. I guess I'm a sucker for those "behind the scenes" stories. I know it wasn't 100% true, but Joyce DeWitt was the executive producer and gave her little comments in between. Now I saw the E! True Hollywood Story they did either last year or the year before, and for the most part, most of the things from last night matched with it. If I were that Suzanne Sommers girl and my husband was a push over blow hard like that, I would have been like "buh-bye." LOL That's where I feel things went downhill. When they showed her shooting one of her last scenes, you could kind of feel for her cause it was only her on set, the others didn't want to be around her.
 
I didn't see it last night...

I just caught the commercials and thought that Suzanne Sommers was a horrible person to work with.

Was she bad? It all went to her head I'm guessing.

I watched it and I was very disappointed. First of all, they really only concentrated on Suzanne Somers and all the crap she pulled. To me, the show was so much more than her...I think John Ritter was the best, and the cast as a whole seemed to work so well together. And John and Joyce DeWitt were the ones who were on the show until the end...they deserved a lot more credit. And the man they had playing Mr Furley was awful!!! And what about Larry?? He was a regular cast member too!! I just found the movie to be very boring and disappointing!!

I saw it last night, it was aight. I was wondering how come they didn't show Larry either. Kinda sad how they did the "Ropers" wrong.

LARRY wasnt in it? HE IS THE MAN!! (well, Jack was but LARRY was a pissa!)

The actor who played MR FERLY played LOUIS SKOLNIK's nephew in REVENGE OF THE NERDS 3 & 4. I think he did an "OK" job.
 
They told the Roper that they would give them their own spinoff called "The Ropers". The actors who played them said that they didn't really wanna leave 3's Company, but the executives assured them that if for some reason after the 1st season their show didn't do well, that they could come back. So they agreed to. Well after a year, the show flopped & they wanted to come back...well the executives told them they couldn't because Don Knotts (Mr. Ferley) was doing an excellent job & they couldn't come back on.
 
well, the execs did say they could have their job back as the ropers on 3's company if the show only lasted a year. since the show lasted a year and half (a season and half) the execs said they didnt qualify to get thier job back.
