Not too many Canadian artists cause we always see them sing somewhere at sometime and I don't have anything against them it's just that I'm an old school type of guy.

I hear the cover girls are coming to the rush. Anyone know if they are the original 80s girls who sang "show me" or the newer 90s replacements (if there are any?)? I don't know if i'm even going but I'd just like to know.

The COVER GIRLS will not be at the Rush... THEY WILL BE PERFORMING at the "EURO FREESTYLE INVASION"... the real freestyle party on FRIDAY NOV 9/01 at the DOCKS...

"angel" will be the one performing... and she is from the original group.... no replacements here... it's the real thing..

We should be celebrating not having a war about two different freestyle concerts...2...WOW...This goes to show the love for freestyle in Toronto...so what's up w/ the hating
Who cares who's promoting which concert, the ppl are more concerned with who's performing...
I personally would go to both concerts, knowing that they have different performers.....
OH Yeah....Elissa, I don't think Neo is trying to start anything with you, the boy did not even say anything, so just relax...

So let's take it ez and give us the 411 on both the invasion and the rush....

P.S. Trinere should be in one of those concerts.....the girl is hype

Wow, you guys are slammin up in here. Enjoy the acts...let's see there's Johnny O, Cynthia, Joee, Elissa, Lil Suzy all at one time. Who cares about the rest of it. Bring them all down to the states along with whoever performs at the Rush.

It is difficult to let all of you in behind the scenes.. I know what Neo is up to...and he is starting with the people who have worked hard to bring a good party to the freestyle community.
So, on that note.. no more posts by me...i'll let the children be children..and I'll help who I chose to help throw a wonderful party.

p.s. again, please note... I know too much information about what's going on behind people's backs...and I don't like it.
 
Bassy, if it were my place, you'd be more than welcome, but alas, I'm still @ home w/parents and all, hell I'm only 22, so still too early for me to own my place. 🙂 Oh, unless you wanna share my bed w/me Bassy. 😉 LOL.

elissa... I'm a fan of your work but I do have to say that you don't have to get hostile if one person makes a comment in error. If someone calls the the 'Euro Invasion' on Nov9/01 the "Freestyle Rush" SO WHAT!!! Its all the same. Its a celebration of Freestyle music and whether their favourite artists (old and new) will perform not what its called or who is organizing it (as to your comment about "Self Promotion" you seem be that yourself for yourself) RELAX!! No one is doing anything behind anyones back. So if one person makes an imature comment to start shit- let them it takes an imature person to stoop to their level and have to try and prove that they(YOU) know better..cuz as a fan its starting to turn me OFF!!!

but girl stop the hating, don't stoop to other ppl's level.
Its a harsh world out there and you got to takecare of own and not worry about what others say about you or your work.

Just to inform everyone, I spoke to many booking agents in the usa plus many freestyle artists & guess what, none of them are booked for a So Called Freestyle Rush. The only show acts are booked for is the Nov. 9 show at THE DOCKS. Also 1 last thing , Z103.5 only will present shows that are NOT CALLED RUSH...They will only promote there SUMMER RUSH....Any other parties called Rush will only have radio spots NOT STATION PRESENATATIONS.

all the acts for the Euro freestyle Invasion are confirmed...i saw the contracts plus these acts have been long time friends of the people involved from what i understand..Also all the euro acts are being brought in by there records labels.just like the HOT RUSH....

As for some of you saying that I'm losing fans because of "The Truth".. what kind of artists do you want to believe in? The type that go around smiling at everyone, being fake because they want people to like them.. you have to understand, not only am I a recording artist, I also write, teach, produce, promote, talent scout and license music. I am very much involved in the dance industry here.. and I shouldn't have to be afraid to show my true colors. My Fans know how much I love them..But I won't sit back and watch people try and mess up a party that I'm involved in.

As for Neo, what the rest of you don't know is.. he is involed in the "Rush" party(or at least with the concern parties) and has been leaving posts on everyboard causing problems before their show is even booked. I don't take things out on just one person, there is always a story behind it..

The insiderinfo person just confirmed it for me.. (thanx, who ever you are).

So on that note.. you should judge my music for what it is, and if u don't like my attitude.. then so be it... I'm just doing my job and I'm just trying to support a party "FREESTYLE INVASION".. to bring the freestyle community in Toronto together in harmony without STUPIDNESS...

Guys, seriously, please quit the bitchin' from either side. Right now, we only have word of one "party" involving Freestyle artists. If and when this other party is officially announced then we can rejoice, cause hell, 2 parties are better than one. For now, just quit the arguing, it's totally pointless. Sit back, relax and enjoy the music. 😉
