Expose back together again? Now this is great news.. if only we can get Gioia on line with this. I wonder how they would sound as a four member group. Ann Jeanette Gioia and Kellie.... Sweeeet we shall see Keep your fingers crossed.
 
I am surprised, if it is true, that Kelly would be part owner of the name. I would think it would be Ann and Jeanette. Anyway, it is good to see them back. With Gioia's new solo CD coming out next month it will be interesting to see how everything works out for all the ladies. It would be awesome if Expose gets back into the recording studio and puts out another album. It has been over a decade since their last.
 
wow, expose coming back again to perform. true expose still has to mean ann, jeanette, and gioia, but this is good enough after so long. also im amazed that gioia is in tour all the way in asia, i didnt know they knew her over there.
 
Well I attended Expose's performance last night in Paso Robles, CA and all I can say is DAMN!!! The show was incredible.

First off, they performed for an hour plus and did all the hits. I know there has been criticism in this topic regarding Kelly and her replacement of Gioia. Don't get it twisted, I am a fan Gioia like you all but Kelly held her own with the vocals last night. Credit is definitely due. She even admitted that they were some big shoes to fill but she was up to the challenge. And she delivered big time. Other than a slight technical glitch with one of the keyboards, the show was flawless.

After the first show at 7pm, the group made their way to the merchandise stand where they signed autographs and took pictures with the fans until it was time to hit the stage for the second show @ 9pm. Ann, Kelly, and Jeanette were so down to Earth with the fans. I can't see how anyone in attendance would have thought otherwise.

A couple weeks ago, I interviewed Jeanette on my radio show and she confirmed that there are plans to do some shows with Gioia and Kelly where they would switch off at various points during the performance. The day prior to our interview, she had been on the phone with Gioia discussing the matter. Stay tuned for that. Also, the rights to the group name Expose are now owned by Ann, Kelly, and Jeanette. There are no plans as of now for any new music. Only doing some shows and seeing how everything feels but Jeanette said she thought it would be fun to get back in the studio and do some new stuff being that all three, four including Gioia, have been writing songs.

It was awesome though being front row last night for a historical event in that this was Expose's first performance in 10 years. Jeanette and Ann's vioce's were as strong as the old days if not stronger. Did I mention I took a rolls worth of pictures. Oh yes. I will have them by the end of the week. Hopefully I will be able to post them on here. If not, email me and I will send them to you.

Special shout out to Steven Rosen from management for all the hook last night.

I would love to see the pics. Expose has always been my favorite. I hope they post somewhere there tour schedule. I would love to see them perform with Gioia.

Its been a long-time fantasy/dream of hearing that they will once again get together! I am very happy!

AND, most of all, I am very happy the girls finally got the chance to own the name!
They freakin' desreve it!🙂

With all of these nice thoughts of who should and shouldn't be up there, lets at least remember the O_R_I_G_I_N_A_L_S,,,,Ale', Laurie, and Sandra(Sandee) were the original exposettes...True , the group didn't explode until gioia, jeanette and ann were Brought together by Lewis Martinee...Although he no longer has any involvement w/ Expose", it was his dream that created the whole thing...1989 Expose' was the opening act for a US tour by Lisa-Lisa and Cult Jam...That was there first real tour w/ a band, getting to all those small towns across the US is what broke them to the US... As for the "reunion" .....make your money girls..

To me, gioia, jeanette and ann are the real EXPOSE. Those were the girls I saw on the videos, heard in the interviews on the radio and the ones on stage in 1988 that I saw in concert.
 
Yeah, they ARE what made the group, But they diddnt start off the group. So credit must be given to the originals & Kelly as well.
AND "Exposed To Love" was NEVER RE-RECORDED.
EVERY version of the song available is sung by the original girls ONLY.🙂 (Ale' on lead)
- Lewis can tell anyone that.
Only "Point Of No Return" was re-recorded.
Many of the other "album-tracks" also still carry some of the originals back-up vocals as well.

BUT yes, Jeanette, Gioia, & Ann, are what many of us consider to be "thee" Expose'.
The ones we saw everywhere, on everything.
Can't wait to see 'em perform!
