Just found out that Expose will be performing live on stage on August 1st at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, CA. It has been confirmed by their management that Jeanette and Kelly will be there. Not sure if Ann will be too. Gioia is on tour in Asia so she's out of the question. This is big though. They will be doing two shows at 7pm & 9pm. The shows are free with fair admission.

This is the deal.....

The members of Expose that are performing are Ann Curless, Jeanette Jurado, and Kelly Moneymaker. They will perform on Friday, August 1 at 7:00 and 9:00 pm on the Chumash Casino/Budweiser Fort Frontier Stage. The shows are free with paid Fair admission.
A statement from Gioia's website...Gioia did not even know that this was planned. I am not sure why they would not invite her since Kelly never recorded with them anyway. No offense to Kelly but Expose is not Expose unless it is Gioia, Ann and Jeanette. If they were to get together, maybe Freestyle would have a chance again. They are the most successful act in Freestyle history anyway.

Kelly Moneymaker has been doing really well as a solo artist. She has a top 10 song on the Adult Contemporary charts, and has performed the song on Days of Our Lives ..FYI...her husband, Peter Reckell, plays Bo Brady on Days.

I have to agree with Rogerem though..Ann, Jeanette, Gioia are the real Expose.

Thanks, Roxygirl! I thought I was the only one happy for this. Sure, it would be great to have Gioia back in the group but lets hope this goes well with the second line up.
 
I don't recall there being ANY Freestyle on the "Moneymaker" album. So basically, she's going to sing songs that she shouldn't even get credit for. For that, just let Ann and Jeanette perform.

What is she going to do, sing all of Gioia's verses? That's tired.
 
damn I thought I was hostile. I'm not trying to knock the next man but damn, Carlito has alot of venom. I mean the Cover Girls are not the Cover Girls without Angel but you still attend their shows. Yes Gioia did contribute majorly but she and Jeanette shared most of the leads. I am no way trying to defend this Kelly girl because I understand the questions of her credibility but atleast respect the idea of her making the effort. I am scheduled to interview Jeanette on July 17th and will try to have some answers to these questions. I will be at that show no doubt and will have pictures soon after. The other rumor I have heard which may be a reason for this show happening is that Kelly and Jeanette recently became the owners of the name "Expose".
