How many love/loved this group??
They brought us some of the hits like:

"I'm So Excited"

"Jump! (For My Love)"

"Slow Hand"

"Neutron Dance"

& my #1 fav, "Automatic"!

Best of all, they were really all sisters. Their music brings back good memories from da early 80's.
Any fans??
 
When I was a little kid I would program my vcr to tape a show on Saturday nights in NYC called "New York Hot Tracks" (I wasn't allowed to stay up for it LOL) - I still have a lot of those shows on tape, including footage of Madonna introducing her early videos and Alisha singing "Baby Talk" in some club..they also showed it on Sunday mornings...anyway I found the video for "I'm So Excited" on one of those tapes - the UNEDITED version where June Pointer is standing up in the bathtub and you can see her pubic area clear as day....I also found a video for their song "Twist My Arm"....great stuff!!!

omg I remember Hot Tracks... vaguely... was it on at like 12:30am or something???

I remember that show too!!!!!!!!!!! Great videos.
 
When I was about 8 I would go on a taping spree - and I still have a lot of those shows....the host was named "Carlos DeJesus" and it was a pretty good show....I have to try and find the tapes again because who knows - there might be some valuable rare freestyle videos on those tapes!
 
Damian, do you remember "Video Jukebox", later renamed "The Box", where you could call up and request videos????
 
yo company b when i was younger i thought a man sang "automatic" cuz of their deep voices lol. i come to find out later it was theM....it bugged me out lol. great song and also my favorite of theirs!

The Pointer Sisters performed this years New Years in the Bay Area, which was shown on TV.San Francisco is so busy on new years.The Pointer Sisters did a great job.When I was a little kid, I loved their songs, definitly love the 80's.
 
The Pointer Sisters are great! My fave songs from them are He's So Shy, Slow Hand, Automatic, Dare Me.

I love Dare Me, too, and they also had a house track on Motown called "Insanity" which is very hard to find.
