The Past

There I was just writing about love and happiness
till a single memory of her came to me and I felt nothing but loneliness.
I know she is without me but things have changed
The love I once had for her no longer remains
She begs and pleads in my head
but feelings I once had are now dead.
I know it isn't right to just forget her, but I have moved on
Am I right or am I wrong?
I wish her nothing but the best in life
I just wish she knew she no longer needs to cry
I'm hoping peace will find her heart
I couldn't have the one who had my child fall apart.

I want to her to know that we can always be friends
cause it wouldn't be fair to the one I am with and just call it an end.

WOW THIS ONE IS REALLY SAD, BUT I DON'T THINK THAT YOU ARE WRONG. YOU CAN'T JUST LEAVE THE ONE YOU ARE WTH FOR SOMEONE THAT YOU NO LONGER HAVE FEELINGS FOR. IT WOULDN'T BE RIGHT, YOU HAVE A THING WITH THIS GIRL WITH NOW SO DON'T LET IT GO, YOU DON'T WANT TO END UP WITH SOMEONE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH. THAT IS WHAT THE POEM "WHY" IS ABOUT. I ALWAYS END UP GETTING WITH SOMEONE I DON'T CARE ABOUT ENOUGH, AND I HURT THEM AND I NOW KNOW THAT IT IS WRONG. NO ONE DESERVES THAT. BUT I AM HAPPY NOW BECAUSE I AM BACK WITH THE ONE I TRULY LOVE AND THINGS BETWEEN US ARE ALOT BETTER!! SO I THINK YOU SHOULD JUST GO WITH WHAT YOUR HEART SAYS AND BELIEVES, EVEN IF YOUR EX DOSEN'T LIKE THAT. YOU DON'T WANT TO FAKE A RELATIONSHIP JUST BECAUSE YOU GUYS HAVE A KID TOGETHER. IT WOULDN'T BE HEALTHY. SO JUST THINK ABOUT WHAT I HAVE SAID, YOU WILL BE ALRIGHT!!
