I thought the movie was great. I got a little weepy here and there..

Thios was Gibson's INTERPRETATION of what transpired, so how accurate the brutality, who knows.. I felt the acting was of a higher caliber and was definitely great.

I have learned that the more tough times we go through, the more blessed we are. There is good and evil. When evil knows that you are trying to do what is right, that is when things start going wrong. Evil is not going to mess with those that are doing what is wrong, cause evil already has control of them. Evil will torment the good, just as he did to Jesus. If someone tells you, "Let yourself die, I will bring you back from the dead, would you do it?" If you program someone to love you and respect you, it is coming from you. If you give them the freedom to love you and respect you and you get it in return, then you know it is real. That is why God allows things to happen, gives us the freedom to love or not love Him, so He can know what's real and not real, it isn't Him making us do it. So when you are constantly being tormented, learn to tell yourself, it is cause you are blessed and evil is trying to test your faith and love for God, not because God is ignoring you or because you are a bad person. Jesus was not a bad person and look how much His faith was tested. He could have changed His mind at any given point and not gone through with it. He was a man with free will just like any other. He let His Dad's will be done knowing he would suffer and trusting He would be set free. That is faith.

Manny That was very nicely put. I couldnt agree with you more.

I am going to see it this weekend. I haven't spoken to one person yet that didn't like the movie. Whether this is the religion you follow or not, the same reaction was received... well acted and well directed.

Not going to get all religious on anyone up in here, but this being my belief (catholic), this movie is the last days of Christ's life. Mel Gibson didn't sugar coat it and as he has said in an interview... he even held back a little. If a man was go receive the beaten betrayed in this movie, then he would not have survived not to mention be recognizable as a human. (Mel Gibson said that last part about unrecognizing a human man after a beaten like that).

8 out of the 8 friends of mine that saw it loved the movie and the guys even admitted to tearing.

Well I Neva Said I Didnt Like The Movie, I Actually Think Its A Must See Movie But In All Reality It Was What It Was. A Man Getting A Beating A Severe One And Then He Died. There Was Nothing To Learn From This Movie And I Know Alot Of People Are Gonna Say Different But It The Truth. It Was Just Scene After Scene Of Beatings.

VERY NICE MANNY
🙂

You say very nice, and i say very much bullsh!t, but i'm not going to get into that now.
~no offense manny~

I saw the movie and though the acting was good, i swear i could've waited 'till the shiat was on DVD. No offense to any Jews here, but it certainly looks like they killed jesus. Yes i know Jesus was a jew. And according to his fellow jews he was the false messiah, a wanna be prophet, a blasphemer. And that is an offense punishable by death. That's why they took jesus to ceaser and the other guy(forgot his name). And remember, they(ceaser and the other guy) didn't even want to deal with the bullshiat. They left it up to the Jews to decide. And i'm assuming we all know what happened next. Yep, my man got nailed.

Quick note about the whole 1 yr old and the kids thing. Anyone want to see a movie, see "The Wrath". You tell me what's stronger, the love for a child or the love for god.
