I Know That There Is A Thread About This Movie Somewhere But I Just Had To Put My Two Cents In.


Last Nite I Went To See It And First Thing I Gotta Is "wow". I Got To See 2+ Hrs Of Pure Violence (reminded Me Of My Old Neighbohood)
If This Is A True Story, Its A Very Sad One Who Tells The Story Of The Cruelity And Hatred We As Human Have Inside Of Us. This Man Was Persercuted, Tortured And Killed While His Mother Looked On Because Of The Fear And Ignorance Of A Few. In All Honesty I Dont Think The Movie Really Had Any Meaning To It, Just A Story Being Told. Over All I Must Say That I Didnt Feel I Wasted My Money .

I cant wait to see the movie....i havent been to the movies in a looooong time but im definetly gonna check it out!!!
 
I seen it a coulple days ago. Yes its violent but so was the bible, I think it was a smart move releasing this film. Its overdue!! This world is so corrupt , they release a film about Jesus and people go crazy!! But if the film was about Satan and his army of demons................it would just be another regular movie. The congress had religion tooken out of school, and the 10 commandments removed from a musium, but they have to think about Gay Merrage. You tell me what time it is!!!!!
 
I Dont Or Will I Ever Have A Problem With The Release Of Any Movie About Christ. As A Matter Of Fact I'm Glad The Movie Was Released But I Really Didnt See The Point Of This Particular Movie.
 
LMG..I'm glad you went to see the movie. I'd like to let you know that this is a real life story. You could check it out for yourself if you read the bible (Matthew 26, starting in verse 36.

The point of this movie is to let everyone know how awesome, how real, how human Jesus was and the true reason why Jesus went on the cross. Many people have ideas, opinions, speculations and because of this the realily of Jesus gets distorted. If you take the time out to read your bible you will actually realize the truth as to why Jesus did what he did and so much more.

This movie gave a very accurate picture of the torture, humiliation, abuse Jesus went through,but if you get a chance check out your bible and you will see and learn so much more.

MA I HAVE READ THE BIBLE AND IT IS WHAT IT IS A STORY WRITTEN BY MAN. I SAW THE MOVIE AND TO BE HONEST IT DID RAISE OR ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS FOR ME, JUST SHOWED ME THE BRUTALITY THAT I HAVE KNOWN EXIST IN THIS WORLD SINCE FOREVA.

I BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD JUST NOT EVERYTHING MAN HAS WRITTEN ABOUT GOD. I GET ANNOYED WITH HE HAS A MASTER PLAN THATS WHY A 1YR OLD GOT DIED, HE HAS A MASTER PLAN THATS WHY KIDS ARE BEING RAPED AND TORTURED EVERYDAY. IN THE END WE WILL KNOW WHY? TO BE HONEST I DONT WANT TO KNOW WHY BECAUSE IT JUST AND WILL NEVA MAKE SENSE. I KNOW MY BELIEFS ARE NOT THE MOST POPULAR ONE (AS A MATTER OF FACT I KNOW OF ONLY ONE PERSON WHO FEELS AS I DO ) BUT IT DOESNT MAKE ME WRONG. THANKS MIRIAM

Mama, your opinion is shared by many others. I used to feel the same way until about 6 years ago when I decided to study the bible and truly take personal responsibility for my life, my sins and really dare to have faith in God and in his plans. You are correct, sometimes we don't always understand or agree with why good things happen to good people or innocent at least. I don't have the answers to that, only God knows. I know that personally, many situations in my life have occurred that have made me feel like God is either in his own world or totally ignoring me but it is my faith in him and in his perfect word that has allowed me to wait until that day comes when I will meet him and have the chance to chat with him face to face. Until then I live my life sharing my faith and the awesome things that he has done in my life (saving me from a diabetic coma 3 times, the ability to forgive many people in my past who have destroyed my upbringing/childhood without holding an account of their wrongs against them, peace of mind, healing of a hurt heart and soul, etc etc etc).

Many people are affected by negative things; rape, murder, pain, sickness,etc etc etc...but also look at the people who are doing such things...it is not God, it is men/women who lack God in their lives.

My intention mama is not to argue God/his word or defend him because God needs no defending. I simply wanted to share with you and others my point of view, just like you did yours.

When that day comes I know we will all have the opportunity to ask him the questions that lie deep within.

Beleive what you want, No ones mad @ any body, Its a free contry. But Think It out well because in the end.................evry knee shall bow and evry tounge shall confess Jesus Christ is Lord. Dont worry about 1 yr olds dying or police Brutality, God has things just the way he wants them. Worry about your self and others you care about getting to heaven. Trust me Im not Homer Simpsons Neighbor Flanders, In fact Im probly going to Hell, if I dont start practicing what I preach!! Just keep a open mind and stay positive. You can Ask God All The qiestions you want , but you have to make it to heaven 1st..............We all do.
 
Its Great That Your Okay With That And I Admire That Fact That This Is How You Found Your Peace But For Me Its Not Enough. I Take Resposiblity For My Mistakes And I Dont Blame Anyone For What I Get Myself Into. I Have Study The Bible, I Have Turn To God And I Have Prayed And Beg Him But Still I Havent Gotten Any Answers. So Instead I Look To Myself And Try To Find My Own Answers. Like I Said I Believe There Is A God, I Dont Doubt That But Just Not In The Same Way You Do.

DONT WORRY ABOUT 1YRS OLD DYING, HAVE YOU EVA HAD A CHILD AND THAT CHILD DIED. DO YOU HOW THE HELL THAT FEELS? HOW DARE YOU SAY DONT WORRY ABOUT THAT? WORRY BOUT MYSELF, IM A MOTHER FIRST AND FORE MOST AND I WORRY BOUT MY CHILDREN FIRST AND EVERYTHING IS SECONDARY AND THE DAY (GOD FORBIDS) YOU LOOSE A CHILD, LET ME KNOW IF YOU WONT WORRY BOUT IT.

I didnt mean it that way, Please dont miss understand , Ill try it aGAIN. Dont let thease things make you question God and your Faith, Dont let thease things jepordize your soul getting in to heaven. Let God handle his Buisness , and concentrate on the BIG PICTURE..........LIFE AFTER DEATH. Its traggic yes, gangs , aids, early and unnatral deaths. No , I have never had a child die on me, But you dont know what ive been through, and im not about to start wrighting a book. So let me just say i appoligize for the wording of that statement. And I swear it wasnt ment to be like that. Its like This: would you let me conflict pain to you if i promised you a million bucks when im done? Youd probly have to yhink about it. God has all thease problems coverd. 80 years of suffering to GOD is like a milasecond. Hes the Alfa And Omega. Evry one down here having problems with love, finance, acceptence. Those are minor things to him , thats all I ment. No Ive never lost a child and Im sorry to offend any one that was not my oplan. But Ive lost people in cold blood, in front of my own eyes. I know what its like to loose someone you care. To hold them in your arms and wach them leave earth while you beg for there mercy. Ive seen it all. funeral after funeral. My life has been nothing but struggle up untill now. Death has always been a reality you cant hide from. Again I dont want to get in to other subjects but , please beleive thats what I ment to say, but it wasnt meant like that.

I saw the movie lastnight and I liked it .. I understood more of the meaning of things .. But the way they did him wrong and all it was crazy ... Very sad movie ! Over all very good film..
