im going to see it today from what i heard and read in an in depth review in the daily news yesterday naya they say the viloence in the movie is even hard for some adults to handle so i dont know if its okay to take your five year old
 
I'll go to see the movie this weekend. I hear the movie is great. For those who did see, did you get an impression that the movie is anti-Semetic? I know that the movie is brutal.

I did hear about a woman in Fla that died from a sicere while watching the movie.

however the whole crucifixition thing freaks me out...ive been in catholic school from preschool to highschool graduation and even a semester in a catholic college, so i know all about what Jesus went through...and i love Him for it...but i just cant handle it!!! i have seen a lot worst violence in horror movies, but when it comes to Jesus it just hurts me sooooooooo bad to see that violence towards him!!!! maybe its because i am unattached to horror film characters, but Jesus is a figure i grew up with and love, and its like they are doing it to a family member...so even the commericial makes knots in my belly...i think i might head out to the movies this weekend and buy a ticket for the movie but duck into a diffrent theatre, i do want to show mel support, letting him know we are thankful for him making the movie about Jesus

i guess i am just a chicken...ugh

after i see it i'm going 2 c if i', taking my lil brothers 2 c it
the 3 older one i know they will b ok but my 5year old i'm still not sure if i should talk or not

Tae, my thought is this, he's seen other things that are violent, you know like the action films and those types of things, which I get slack for, but I figured if he is goign to see violent stuff o nTV, then why not let him see this movie that means something? I mean I could be wrong, I don't know, I am lost here.
 
i think if u'r kids see the violent stuff, then why not show him this
i don't let my 5year or the other kids see violent movies, so thats why i'm not sure about taking my 5year old
and from whay my brother told me who saw the movie last night, the parts wth satan r scary
and he thinks that the kids should not see it
but i'm going 2 check it out 4 my self
 
Hey guys, I heard in a commercial a news brief update and they said that some woman had a heart attack and I THINK she died from watching this movie yesterday. They're saying the movie was too graphic. I'm going to watch the news later on to see what happened.

i don't think it's a good idea 2 take a 5year old it is very violant, but all of it it just like it said in the bible
i think every body should see this movie , it touched me,
but at the same time it is really hard 2 c what they did to Jesus

oye naya tu sabe que te quiero mucho and i know ur a good mom and everything but i agree with what taezee said, so im just gonna give up my most str8 forward opinion ok? u know after seeing the movie myself i gotta admit that it brought me to tears and left me with such a sadness in my heart cuz u need to ask urself if this is the way that jesus die? then i dont wanna see another execution like that ever again! u see mel gibson had a vision he went by what the new testament said and film it according to what he, you and i have read in the bible

and me as an adult i had to look away at times cuz the scenes are to brutal and graphics so u gotta imagine how would a little child would react? u say that ur son sees things daily on tv with all this violences and stuff but what u need to know is that stuff like that haunts children later on in life esp the bloody scenes and killings i myself who is an uncle would not take my nephews and niece to go see this movie even thou they are much older then ur little son is that stuff like that i feel is not appropiate for them to go thru right now maybe later on when they are older would be ok but for now is like what mel gibson said no parent should take their young children to go see this movie but if u going to then hey ma more power to u and god bless 😉
 
I mean don't get me wron gpeople, I don't let him sit there and watch every violent movie or shows..lol I meant like when we rent movies, not all the movies are disney, and I figure your gonna go into this damn messed up world, I don't want his eys cloouded to what the streets are like.

But I hear what you guys are saying about the movie being too violent. so I won't take him.

very true i had 2 cover my eyes many times cuz i could not bear to see anymore of what they were doing,
i just wanted 2 yell to them and tell them 2 stop
thats how real it is
 
I saw the movie today with my wife and I have to say I felt the pain thru out that entire movie. I cried thru just about the entire movie. The movie was off a little from the Bible but it was as accurate as can be. I am taking my good friend to see this on sunday. Invite people to see this movie. I loved the movie. I give it 2 thumbs up. I hope it has touched peoples heart when they saw the movie. And when it comes out on DVD I will be getting it.
 
I don't know the story at all so I think I wanna see it just to find out what all the hoopla is about, but Kim doesn't have any wantings so see it so I'm gonna hafta drag her a$$ there!!! :lol
