:listen Hey peeps. Loyal freestyle head from Miami here. What's the deal here in Miami, Fl. The freestyle scene is almost nonexistent from my point of view. I try to go to every concert that comes anywhere near here so I've found myself in Ft. Lauderdale recently for a good Erotic Exotic - Information Society concert at the War Memorial Auditorium and the Kings of Freestyle concert in a downtown club. Where can I go to find information on when freestyle artists will be performing in my area. Also are there any other stations than that play freestyle besides 98.3 in the afternoon. Dance 93.1 doesn't count. (They never play). Any help would be appreciated. Recently I was told at Carjul record store that they would be getting some more freestyle records just passing the info. :listen
 
Party 93.1 has been playing more old school freestyle while in a few weeks MIAMI GROOVES AM will be playing all the latest new school freestyle and electro dance music. SIngers Like Ashley,Mannym, Nu Image will all be on regular rotation. IT will then eventually be webcasted. THe Taisan Ball will Have Mickey Garcia and the many others performing so u must check out that party.
 
I was living in Florida when Freestyle was at it's first few stages and even though I was like 10 at the time (1987), it was EVERYWHERE! Oh mah God!

Shout out's going to the Dade County, Miami, Homestead area! Homestead Air Force Base.......best times of my life!
 
carlitos i was also living there during that time and bro it ruled miami!
there was soo many concerts and power played nothing but freestyle
i miss them days

ITs not on the air yet Miami Grooves will be the name of the station and its on the AM Dial.
 
i hope something comes this way for us in miami. i cant stand the hip hop that is being played now. how can we know when that new station will start?

Mega...there is a company called "WILD O" productions working on bringing some NY acts down there... I have been in touch with them so keep your ears open!!
