Anthony - I felt as though since the BPMs are faster nowadays I might as well try it. I usually stay between 120-125 BPMs...

Orgntr1 - The delays you heard was most likely because I played everything straight through without looping anything. As far as the sound quality goes, the 22/56 mp3 conversion may have distored the sound. I'm not saying that the originals sound like they came fresh out of a studio, but they are clear and sound pretty good. As far as you not liking the overall sound, I respect your opinion. What type of sounds do you like best? I am an Old School junkie so most of the stuff I do will have that retro feel to it.

Tarp - Everything was played on a Yamaha DJ-X. I ran the keyboard through my mixer (I keep my mixer & turntables connected to my computer at all times). I always use "CD Spin Doctor" to record from analog sources. I then use Bias' PEAK TDM to master everything (remove DC offset/normalize/crop excess/fade out, etc.)...

Crystal - yes, I have alot of others. Perhaps one day I will put some more samples online. I will let you know if decide to do it.

Tarp, I bought the DJ-X so I could put some ideas into a raw musical form. the DJ-X supports sampling and looping from an external source but not an actual piece that I have played on the keyboard so I have to play everything straight through. I usually begin by making a beat and then I work my up from there...
