NO WAY...4-REAL?

Kenny? Are you sure?

I have this song in a CD (of my collections)...I can't recall which one though. I love that song, the way it starts,,,so mysterious...WOW!!! THAT'S SAD IF WHAT YOU'RE SAYING IT'S TRUE.

THAT IS AN AWESOME SONG DUDE!!!

DIDN'T HE DO ANOTHER SONG IN A MOVIE

Remember the movie "STREETS OF FIRE"...WOW, I WAS INFATUATED WITH THAT MOVIE...THE SINGING SCENES WERE AWESOME.

DIANE LAYNE PLAYED THE SINGER. The song that she sang, what was it called? ANGEL IN THE DARK OR SOMETHING....AWESOME SONG!!!

That song is good

Marc Anthony did the original....is on his album "When the night is over" and is the full song....The Danhartma's song is more for the club....Which was phat ass hell. So sad he past away🙁 ..It's always the talented people who die first...

I thought Marc Anthony's version came AFTER Dan Hartman's! I gotta check the years of those songs again on my CDs! Personally, I prefer Marc Anthony's Opera style vocals over Dan's. Nonetheless R.I.P. Dan Hartman...I had no idea he passed!

Also - R.I.P. George Harrison from Beatles fame.

I am pretty sure that Marc Anthony remade Dan Hartman's version of "Name of the Game". "I Can Dream About You" was a really big hit in the 80's. I remember hearing about his death and feeling really bad...he was too young!

"THE NAME OF THE GAME" by Dan Hartman was released in 1988...

Lil' Louie & Marc Anthony remade the song and featured it on their their 1991 album WHEN THE NIGHT IS OVER...

Ummm, no it wasnt Rhoq. It was 1985 that "name of the game" was produced.

Ok. Let's avoid the rumors. Marc's version came out after Hartman's. Did he really die of aids or did he die of a brain tumor which one is it?

I have the vinyl by the way. If anyone's interested. "Name Of The Game" three original versions. One is a 9 minute extended version of the original. $30.00- Sale

Do anybody remember that song. For a non-freestyle artist, that track had some heavy bassy beats.

I love that song! 😎 I have it on Tommy Boy Freestyle Compilation #4.

RIP 🙁
