The Howard Stern Saga Continues

The Wall Street Journal announces that Clear Channel will be fined up to $450,000 for Howard Stern incident. The saga continues. I have heard Stern say that he was gone if the Infinity fines are really high. What Stern means is, he thinks that Infinity will be pressured by Viacom to fire Stern if the fines are too high.

I hate to say that these are going to be dark times for radio. If this continues The FCC will be going after everybody including HBO. There was talk that The FCC has found a clause in The 1996 indency Act of of Radio, TV and Cable/Satittlite. So we better record all the Sopranos and Real Sex and Skinimax after Dark now.

Deal is; Howard Stern and Elliot are too topugh to quit. No offense, everybody talk about Jack Diamond being the perfect clean Morning Show(Mix 107.3). Hello, he's not all that squeaky clean, he be telling some dirty jokes too now. But they let guys like Jack Diamond slide and always pick on Elliot and Howard Stern.

For those in Fla., this just in; Howard's show has been dropped from Clear Channel stations for good. The FCC has been putting pressure on Clear Channel due to the fine.

He's still on in NY tho.

K-Rock(NYC), WJFK(DC) are Infinity Stations. Infinity(who distributes Howard) are the only stations that will carry Howard.
