The Golden Palace

Know that I watch reruns of "The Golden Girls" on lifetime, they are now showing "The Golden Palace" for a limited time as well, which is the spin-off of "The Golden Girls".I remember the show a little-watched a couple of episodes this week and it is ok, Cheech Marin is always nice to see.But two characters I did not like-the little boy and the black guy who helps run the hotel-I definitly was not feeling them on the show-which is probably one of the reasons why the show did not last.But love Estelle getty-who continued to work on TV-always hilarious and played Sofia on the three shows.

I saw a few episodes of it when it first aired, but didn't like it as much as Golden Girls.

Yeah it just didn't work with the 3 of them.

I watched one episode and couldn't make it through. There was nothing like just the four of them on the Golden Girls.

I love the Golden Girls and Empty Nest...but it wasn't the same without Bea Arthur's character Dorothy!!! I couldn't get into the Golden Palace!

Well it looks like, "The Golden Palace" did become a flop, but it has good moments, usually because Estelle Getty.But, the new characters & old ones did not blend well, which is why it did not last, it would of been better if they did add those two characters and only kept Cheech Marin for more laughter.

Now that Golden Girls is on DVD, wonder if they'll end the series by adding the episodes of Golden Palace.

The Golden Palace probably will have it's own DVD collection.titled "The Golden Palace" The Complete Series.
