For those who haven't noticed, we're starting a petition to ask the higher ups at z103.5 to give Tony Monaco more time to play freestyle, thus allowing a more diverse playlist and attending to our needs. 1. Thank God someone has a Freestyle show on the radio.
If you don't like it, don't listen. Tony plays the best remixes and I love it when he finds Freestyle mixes of non-Freestyle songs. Great show!

2. Anyone who says Tony plays the same 8 songs every week, they obviously don't listen to any Top 40 station, they play the same songs every hour. Tony only plays songs every week if they are requested by a lot of listeners I'm sure.

3. If it wasn't for Stevie, Freestyle would be so popular.

Guys, this is old.. unless you work in radio...I suggest...that you take a class about how radio works...
If you guys want to change what Tony is playing..take a positive approach to the music. God, Tony does his job and he does it well...so...sit here and complain about him.. complain about me (cuz I know after this post.. you will!)
complain about the station...But it won't stop the public from calling in and requesting Stevie B and the music that they like. You guys should be representing our Country..I feel embarassed for everyone else who reads this posts because everytime I come on here..you have negative comments to say. Alot of us work hard to show that we support the music..if you listened to Tony's show tonight..no one else seemed to complain!

Freestyle frenzy

YES we should be proud to have the freestyle frenzy show Z103.5Fm, cuz Energy 108 or kiss98 don't even play freestyle. I do like how Tony introduce the new releases and plays the old school jamz..from Cynthia, TKA, Johnny O. Thanks Tony for playing SteviB's "Dreamin of Love" this past sunday show.. YES WE WANT MORE STEVIE B STEVIE B STEVIE B STEVIE B but one suggestion. I would like to thank Tony when the first time he play DIMI's "ONLY YOU" OMG I love that song soooo much.. SO TONY I do give you full spport now that I realize that there is nothing out there in CANADA that plays freestyle except the freestyle frenzy.. so we should appreciate what we have......No more negativity, nomore bashing.. CAn't we all get along.....PEACE.........

yes, you don't have to support it.. but if we had no freestyle frenzy, no one else would be spinning freestyle.

Do u know what?? Tony Monaco took everything that is said on this board WAYY too literally... he thinks we dont like stevie b... and we are bashing him.. but thats not what we're saying.. we're saying too much is being played and there should be a slight more variety thats all...

i think the only reason why everyone wants to hear Stevie is because thats all they know.. they arent open to all the other amazing talent there is out there... Stevie B is very talented.. but so are many others... im lucky to have napster or else i wouldnt have heard of those others...

and also what got me annoyed a bit was the person who said the people who are bashing stevie arent "TRUE" freestyle fans...
well...
first of all... im not bashing stevie..
and also... im the one who listens to a great variety of artists.. not them... most people will not agree with me.. but ah well.... FREEDOM OF SPEECH!! look in our constitution... one of the good things about canada 🙂
but have some empathy and understand why i think this..
i understand why tony monaco DOES play alot of stevie.. for the ratings and the money... also how freak pointed out... so i guess its not about playing freestyle.............................................

No one was bashing Tony Monaco. I'm not gonna explain myself again, just read my previous posts. A friend of mine emailed him and he said that if we want to have a longer freestyle frenzy which would thus allow him to play more of a variety of music, then we should email the higher ups at z103.5 . That's what we did. Where do you see people bashing Tony or Stevie B? If you're gonna post a reply like that, at least try to read the whole post.

Ok Well I see that we still have negativity in this board. I support freestyle in any way bad or good.......Our Canadian compilation isn't that bad .. Elissa's point , if there is no freestyle on the radio or compilation from Toronto... People would complain about it... but yet... people are still complaining about it now.... F*%K if you want to be happy , listen top R&B or House there is no negativity on that style of music.. everyone supports the music, not bashing it. if I don't like something about a certain song I just keep it to myself.. that is just me. I hate negativity, I hate this BIG F*&$ing "DRAMA"..... enough said... and no Stevie B was not being bash.. we still love the King... but more variety and more open to other artist.... that's all. And yes i do still listen to the Freestyle Frenzy No matter what the issue is......
 
I feel like the whole Stevie B argument is my fault since I'm the one who originally mentioned that Stevie B is played every week and it is becoming overkill, and we would like to hear some variety. Stevie B was just an example. The main and only issue here is variety. How is this not clear, it has been repeated over and over again by the same few people including myself, we want variety, we are not bashing Stevie B, yet people keep replying that we are putting down Stevie B and the Freestyle Frenzy show. I will say it again for all those people who don't understand english, we want...

ok, i don't know where the stevie b sucks thing came in, read the posts NO ONE said he sucks, if you read posts i've written stevie b has more than 3 songs so why don't we play them?? it's about variety, not if this artist or that artist suck. the second thing no one is bashing Tony he is doing his job and keeping freestyle alive in the toronto area, the only thing that we TRIED to do was make the show better, make the show longer and make freestyle music more liked in TO but if there is going to be a problem with this F*** It. Let tony and the station do their thing, if we want to listen and support it do it, and if I or anyone else has a problem forget it because people are getting to worked up about this whole situation.

Anyways.. I just stand up for what i think is right thats all... some people, and it looks like ALOT of people dont agree... but that wont stop me from giving in... but i guess Tony is in a jam... because he needs ratings or else Z103.5 will take the little time he has, away from him... i still believe more variety would be good for the frenzy... i understand both sides... something ALOT of people dont even try and do, they dont try and think about what we are saying here @ clubfreestyle.com
 
I'd have to say that something A LOT of people aren't doing is actually reading the thread before stating that we hate Stevie B and Tony Monaco.
