On Another Trip, I Admit I Was Worried
They Said The Storm Was Coming In Real Hard
But You Claimed You'd Be Alright. That It's Not Too Far
Soon After The Storm Was Over I Called To Make Sure That You Were Safe
But They Replied In "im Sorry Sir But There Is No Such Place"
I Insisted That There Was A Misundertsnading And That They Couldnt Find It On The Map
But They Would Look Into It And Give Me A Call Back
As I Waited For Their Call
I Sat And Thought Alot About The Night You Left
Was This Reality Or Something That I Had Dreamt
I Called Your Mother To Ask If You Had Called In
But She Told Me "miguel I'm Sorry You're Still In Denial
But My Daughter , Your Wife Has Been Dead For Awhile"
I Dropped The Phone And Fell To My Knees
And Then Realized That This Was A Dream
And That I Had Been Living My Life As If She Were Still Here
But I Didnt Want To Accept It Becuase It Was Something I Had Feared
It Was True My Wife Was Really Gone
To Her I Dedicate This Poem Which Will Now Turn Into A Song...
