So, where is freestyle headed? We all wonder!

Is it going to get better or is everyone just going to die in a pool of their own vomit.

Catchy words. Now that everyone is paying attention reading that, let's get to the reality. In more than five years, I have not heard one good new freestyle song. More than five years that the entire PFC has to dig through our collections to find something worth listening to simply because there's nothing new out there. Rhoq is even considering leaving freestyle. I am considering it all a dead cause. No, I am not leaving the PFC. But, the junk passing itself off as freestyle is not worth the support of the PFC. Good night.

maybe the PFC isn't worthy of having freestyle.
i've heard plenty good songs. you're just stuck in time.

Although I am familiar with some of FreeSystem's music, I am not sure if I have heard "THIS LOVE IS NOT RIGHT FOR YOU". If it sounds like their other material then it sounds like typical ZYX Euro-Crapstyle.

I have not heard either of the songs by Freida so I can not comment.

"I WISH" by Kathy Phillips - The song is OK, not great but better than most other new releases.

CHAPTER 3 - Collage: I enjoyed a few (2 or 3) of the songs on the album. Typical Marano - 'nuff said.

"BACK FOR MY LOVE" by Paradigm feat. Stefanie Bennett - One word describes this song..NICE!

"UNTIL TOMORROW" by Adriana - Why listen to Adrianna when we already have Angelina?

"MEMORIES AND SILENT DREAMS" by Leila Simone - nice effort from Victor Franco who had started to get a little stale. Definitely his best song in years and this is one of the few newer 12" singles I actually play from time to time.
 
The Freesystem song is definitely the best song I have heard from them, and yes it does have a euro flavor to it, but it's a good song (I like Eurodance anyway).

Its not the golden age of freestyle right now, but there ARE some gems being released here and there.

u cant go back to the golden age of freestyle music....i have heard plenty of good tracks in the last five years....but seems like the PFC are determined to knock freestyle down....if so.....go ahead

but if you dont anything to contribute why b*itch about it????
 
The only new school songs I like are "Careless" by Nick Colon and "I'll Always Love You" by Nu-Image. I truthfully cannot not think of any others after 96' that were really good, other than alot of Artistik's stuff.

I'm at the point right now where I couldn't care less if Freestyle went on another 20 years or disappeared completely tomorrow. I am all about the survival of GOOD Freestyle - MOST of the Freestyle released over the past few years has not been good, most of it has been SHIT! Why would I want to see our music continue on a downward spiral into the bowels of hell?
 
alot of artists are trying. you have to give them credit where credit is due. many want to do a song with a freestyle beat that you have not heard before but thats almost impossible. you have to admit, alot of the good beats have been taken. whats left is good vocals. but, without a good beat, the song is like a fish out of water. honestly, it sounds like we need a man like RHOQ to come up with a good beat. thats not a joke, either. lets get the crem de la crem at work!
