Mp3.com now lets u upload files@ a crisp clean 192kbit.(a major difference in sound clarity)the most common bitrate is 128,which is close to cd but not quite.(a thorn in the side for true audiophiles)
the catch???I had to pay a 20 dollar "premium artist" fee so I could be allowed to bring it to you.20 bucks dont seem like much to some of you but to me it is a bit costly when u factor in how many artists I have.LOL
anyways heres the deal I offer to the true lovers of Freestyle music...
download any of the tracks encoded @128kbit,share em,burn em to cd or whatever.If you really like some of the songs please buy a cd from the site.Not only do u support me and my artists but u also get the tracks u like encoded @192 kbit with some surprize bonus remixes and tracks.If the response is good I will also offer an accapella cd as well.I believe the price will be 8 or 9 bucks per cd(that includes shipping)You can either by the preselected cds or email me(kenny@sidebusters.com)a list of what songs you want and I will customize your cd.I sure hope some of you take the time to see how important this post is and what it could do for our industry if this form of independent distribution catches on.
