The weapons were put to rest, I lost, and the battle is over…so I thought.
I let my guard down, tried to move on and forget, but it was then that I felt the attack.
The battle was never really over, I was simply blinded…what a fool I was
Only a few moments of happiness is what led me to believe it was over…
So what do I do…I have no choice but to fight, no other choice but to
Raise the guns and try to survive.
I can't take this, I need to run, I need to get away, but how?
How am I to run from a battle that takes place inside me?
And yet another bullet pierces through me….it's done…I lost

WOW....damn raven babes..I felt that..Real deep....So hold up, this was a battle actually taken deep within yourself, of how you felt? but then again..You got peirced with a bullet, and then you said you lost..Like I said..a lot of pain...Beautiful poem...:hearton
 
Well, Crystal, the poem was about my emotional battle wiith in me. It is about the way I saw life at the time it was written (and now). As for the bullet...it's to depict an emotion, or a hard time that came about and caught me off guard. Later.
 
Yeah, I kinda figured that..Thats what makes it so good, is that you put what you feel, by comparing it to something else...Like I always say, this one was very heart felt...:hearton
