As I sit up past midnight....Waiting for the phone call you promised..

I sit and wonder if you really going to call... or if your out with that guy everyones talking about...

You don't know that I know you messin around.. I get to the point were I want to confront you, but don't, Because I love you, and want you with me.

I am sitting here past 1:00 Am looking stupied, by the phone waiting for your call.. I wanna think your just out with friends or running late, But I know better..

2:00 Am passes by, and the phone rings, and it's you... You tell me that it's over, and you found someone else. I don't bother asking, but.. Just hang up the phone, and cry asking myself.. Why?

But then after all the cryin, I fall asleep, and hope it's just a dream..

I wake you and go outside, Looking into the clear sky, Then look at your picture, and think Wow!!! This is the girl that broke my heart... I smile and just leave it to rest..

Then I think If you love someone, or something you set it free.. and that's what she did, she set me free, from all the pain, and sorrow... And I am Greatful... And all i have to say is, Thanks!!!
