Someone has to be honest, it seems as though the whole music business is screwed up. Why can't we just listening to our music and be happy. Even that new Freestyle DVD Kings and Queens was offered to me on bootleg. Everyone is always trying to make money on the next person.

as much as everyones opinion is valaued, someone thier probably didnt think the others were a waste of electricty. You may not like them but maybe others there did. You are entitled to your opinion cause trust me, we have ALL at one time or another given ours!.lolol but let's be a little more nicer on what you consider the other acts to be ma.

I thought that this is what these websites are for, to voice our opinions. I don't think what I am saying is offending anyone in particular. I honestly didn't enjoy any of those new singers. Maybe if I heard their songs some more I might learn to like them. Lets be honest, maybe that is what Freestyle really needs. I love Freestyle with all my heart, I grew up listening to it and dancing to it at the clubs. But if someone sucks I'm going to say it. It is only MY opinion and I am entitled to that, don't you think. I don't mean to say that they sucked, I just wasn't feeling any of them.

I understand you 100% and actually your right on "if you listened to them more, you would probably get to like the songs. that is the whole problem now, it's hard to get new school stuff and even harder to become a fan because you don't listen to the songs more often. I agree with you there.

Most songs that I like I only heard once and became hooked. I feel that if you have to study a song that much in order to like it, it totally defeated the purpose. Maybe instead of ME studying a song in order to like it, the artist and producers should study their craft more. I know you agree Naya.
 
There is a new school artist who I never heard of until I listened to the Artistik Freestyle Parade 2K1 ..her name is Marisol, I have never seen this girl perform never met her, but she has the most amazing voice. she really makes you feel her songs. look in to her, I think you will be pleased.

I actully felt that way about Christina Aguilera. cuodln't stand the girl in the beginning, but after listening to her music a little more that girl has it going on. her new stuff is far superior to her old stuff, and her vocals are beyond incredible.
 
I think Freestyle fans allow their passions to overcome their better judgement in whats good and whats not. Like I said, I love Freestyle, and I never want to see it die, but if it continues the way its going it will. Yes we need new stuff, but it have to be good. Come on people, I know you are all smart enough to agree! I think if we all become more critical of what we vote on we will force producers and artist into really trying harder, and in the long run it will benifit us all.
