Ok maybe that might be a tad bit far fetched , but I did hear sort of a "remake" of The Mexican. Basically the same beat that Jellybean used and it sounds a bit freestyle. Just thought I'd mention it cause I heard it on KTU late at night and the DJ even mentioned Jellybean which I thought was quite cool.
 
It is "The Mexican 2002". It's a remake off the "Thalia" cd. She's Mexican!
 
I Love the song and no its not to far fetched to say its sounds freestyle because its roots are based in freestyle. Hopefully this song can do something for freestyle with the names involved with this project. I mean Mark Anthony is singing the chorus. So IM crossing my fingers. Even though I know they wont call it freestyle but we all know better LOL.
