Okay, so what di I get for guessing right??

In my opinion, this all has alot to do with Israel. The animosity towars us from the arab nations came after we and the U.N. had given Israel back to the Jews. I know they had good reason. If the southwestern US was just taken from us and given back to Mexico, I don't think we'd be too happy about that. There's a big history there. However well meaning, we(as a country) have a history of meddling in other countries' affairs. Research the civil war in El Salvador, especially what happened in El Mozote. It's kinda like when someone we care about has a problem, sometimes when we try to help, that person we care about may be grateful(and sometimes not), but most likely the other person will be very resentful.
There's nothing we can do to change the past. The best we can do is learn from it. Personally, I don't think the blame the president thing will get us anywhere. Their motives for doing or not doing things may be something that's not public knowledge. Us civilians just know what the media tells us. Just a few thoughts...
