I remember

I remember Teaz 2 Pleaz. Their hit was "I Want U". If I remember right, they released a full length cd, but I never found it anywhere.

Wow, yeah that's the one ChuckD! I never found there full length album either but do remember when there first hit was on vinyl. Remember them days when that was what most record store's were filled with, "vinyl". Thanks for the help!

& the original members of Teaz 2 Pleaz were Bambi, Monique, & Jasmine.
I actually found my "I Want U" vinyl single the other day in my pile. lol.
But I never found the full lenght album.

Yes, they WERE a 2 girl group in 1987 as the name Precious. They sung 2 songs... Let Me Know and You And Me Baby...on HHH Records. The Let Me Know record has a pic of them...It was Just Betty and Nora back then.

Well, the reason that Precious's songs are not on that CD is probably cause of the different group name used. They were diffinately Precious though. They're names are on the records and everything, as well as their picture being on the Let Me Know sleeve. Both the songs were real good too!

I use to have that precious 12' of "let me know" with betty and nora on the cover, then they later changed their names to monique, yasmin and bambi when they became teaz 2 pleaz, then later changed it back to their real names lol
Lou Lou what's up baby! yes yasmin & monique (betty & nora) were twins and i remember i use to have a crush on yasmin lol
i saw them at hot wheels a few times, plus at power 96 shows all through out 88 and 89.
i also met them at BPM records (remember that store?) i still have my 12' of "i want u" signed by them lol

Is this the same Precious that does some of the more recent hit's like "Why can't you see", "Lollipop" and others? There's another Precious in the U.K. but her hit's are the britney spears type pop sound.

No...Precious (a.k.a. Teaz II Pleaz) were a 1987 stage name.

BBOY, You may be right but i dont think they changed their names. there were "brand new girls". on the "greatest hits" cd, they show all 9 members, with thier names. they dont look the same so i dont think the members decided to change thier names to coincide with each new album.

they show pics and the girls are not all the same, unless the girls from the 1st album did a major face lift and look latino now!
