When I hear that somebody gets hurt, shot
when people lose their lives
there are so many tears I cry
when I see good people die

when I see guys dodging bullets
trying to hide
there are so many tears I cry
when I see killings with no remorse
hatred, demise
there are so many tears I cry
at night afraid to go outside
scared that when every car pass me
there is gonna be a drive-by
