Hi guys!! I just thought id share my story with everyone…..

I had a lil crazy morning today…. Well heres the story I started the morning having to meet my dad in the hospital for a stress test (hes been taking heart medication for years) well as I was leaving the house to meet him he called me & said to come to the emergency room instead cause he was having chest pains… it was so scary but when I got there they said they had to do emergency surgery on him to unclog his arteries… so they did the surgery right away & thank god everything went ok… they said his artery in his heart was clogged 90% which means if he wouldve waited any longer he would have had a heart attack… That is so scary because that’s how my mom passed away…

Well im telling everyone this because it made me really realize how important taking care of yourself really is… My dad eats healthy he quit smoking 3 years ago & still this happened… This was a real wake up call for me I hope everyone realizes this can happen to anybody at any age I see more people younger & younger are having heart attacks and its so scary..

Sorry to hear about your mom. But it's a good thing your father discovered there was a problem. And right on time too! I have a lot of smokers in my fam also. But I read if u quit, 15 yrs. later, your risk of cancer and heart disease is the same as that of a non-smoker. So on the bright side, in 12 yrs. your pops will have a clean slate!
 
That's horrible Baby but I'm glad everything turned out okay. My mom smokes & I wish she would quit. Me & my sisters stay gettin on her back about it. It is very important to take care of your health cuz without it you wouldn't be here today.
 
Thanx guys it is scary ... scary ehough for me to realize my ass needs to quit the cigarettes too.. Im just glad everything turned out ok

sorry to hear about your mom baby glad everything went good with your dad i been tellin my mom for the longest to quit smokin but its like talkin to the wall she keeps sayin ok its gettin old i lost my dad to cancer he smoked and my mom just wont lisn . i even told her ok if u dont care about your health then i can careless about mine she said i was crazy . but its the same thing everyday tryin to get her to quit .
 
Thanx krystal- he is feeling better but today is still the first day so there watching him close... he comes home in the mornign....
 
Wow thank god that he's okay and it was caught on time. That is no joke. My hubby's Dad had a heart attack and underwent a heart bypass surgery to unclog 6 arteries. He survived the surgery and today, a year and a half later, he's doing great. Taking care of himself.
