i used to own a tape by SWEET SENSATION titled TAKE IT WHILE ITS HOT. i loved that tape. what ever happened to the latin female trio SWEET SENSATION?

That's a really good question....also a big mystery because everyone who I ask never knows. Sweet Sensation went through a lot of personnel changes before leaving the music scene. First it was Mari, Margie and Betty. Then Mari was replaced with Sheila who was in place when the group went mainstream with "Sincerely Yours". Then after the Love Child CD, Margie and Sheila were replaced with 3 new girls backing up Betty. I guess they were trying to be the Latina "En Vogue". They did a couple of shows then disappeared for good. In the past 10 years I have heard that Sweet Sensation has done some club gigs, but it's not the original line-up of Shiela/Mari, Margie and Betty. Just Betty with some new girls. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I knew the whole entire story but i totally forgot it. i used to speak with the groups guitarist and he told me it got realy, really ugly between the girls and the record label (arista, i believe). He told me by the looks of it, it would take a miracle from God to get them together again.
