I posted last night that I was starting a new job today, and other than being exhausted, I survived day one! :yeey LOL
Most of the people are nice, but there are a few that I know already don't like me cause of the fact they have been there how ever many years, and in I walk as the manager's assistant and basically in charge when the manager isn't there, so they feel they've been shafted. But having a looooong discussion with the manager, she said if they actually did work instead of pushing it off on other people then maybe she would have considered one of them for the job instead of hiring an outsider. I'm just looking at it as a new experience, and if they don't like me, tough shit...I'm there to work, not to make friends. No major problems, but only day one. I still have training to go through before I feel totally comfortable in the position, but I'm just taking it one day at a time, and looking at the bright side...at least I have a short work week this week! :lol
