An amazing song an all time classic...couldn't make it out tho had to work

Well it's the day after Summerrush and I have to say that it was great!!!!!! The day started out with rain showers but it didn't keep the fans away. I didn't get to see all the acts due to many activities scheduled that day. But, Stevie and I arrived in time to catch some of Frankie J's set which was really good. He is a very talented young man. After his set, he came over and spoke with Stevie and they both expressed their mutual respect for eachother's talent. Then the Z103.5 dj's took the stage and announced the King of Freestyle. The men roared and the females screamed as Stevie was introduced and his intro music started. Then Stevie owned that stage from beginning to end. Stevie performed his greatest hits as well as his new single "Old School Party" that is in the regular rotation at the station. After the show, Stevie autographed copies of his new album titled "This Time" for the fans. Speaking for Stevie and myself, thank you Toronto. You showed us so much love as always and we can't wait to get back very soon.
Call or email your favorite radio station and request the new Stevie B single "Old School Party".
Thanx again Toronto, remember Stevie B loves and appreciates you. Hope to see all of you on the upcoming Freestyle Explosion Tour.

You'd be surprised how many fans will fly to see one of these shows if they are able to do so. These shows have sold out almost every date and there is nothing like seeing and hearing 15,000 screaming freestyle fans all in one arena. Check the airfares and come and party at one of the hottest tours of the summer.
See you on tour!!!!!!!

I really can't afford it right now cuz I got other things that my money is going towards right now...also getting the time off work would be impossible

I hear ya... well all that means is somebody's gotta convince these promotors on Canada to bring one of these concerts up there. Some say freestyle is dead, and it might not do well, blah, blah, blah. But the truth of the matter is, many of these tour dates completely sell out! Many of these acts haven't had a hit in years and collectively they are selling out arenas. Now look at some other tours of artists that have had hits recently and within the last few years that are now doing smaller venues because the ticket sales are not doing as well as expected. High ticket prices, younger crowds, fear of violence and such is what is slowing these concerts down. But when you announce that you are going to be entertained by your favorites such as Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, The Covergirls etc, the tickets start selling becuase you know you are going to be entertained, relive some memories and just enjoy yourself. At a freestyle concert its all love, you don't go to a concert to be screamed at, cursed at, and reminded of everything thats wrong in the world. Why would you pay for that? Freestyle is still very much alive and respected.
Stevie performed Sunday at Z103.5's Summerrush concert and the funny thing is that, this is a top 40 radio station and prior to Stevie going on they had one of the hottest acts of the year Frankie J perform. Now think about it, a freestyle act headlining a major show like that. This was a prime example of where freestyle is at. It's not going anywhere. These artists are hear to stay and in closing let me say I know personally, that these artists care about their fans. Freestyle fans have stuck with them so long through thick and thin and that's one of the reasons that these artists are still around. What concerts nowadays have the artists actually sitting in the concourse of the arena personally autographing merchandise? How many concerts can you go to nowadays where you can actually shake their hand and tell them how much you like them?
To all that read this post, I may have gone a little off track but I have to get it of my chest all the "hating" going on, and all the "freestyle is dead"crap. Come to a show, listen to the music and have a great time. Believe it or not like I said before, these artists love what they do and much of it, they do for you. Come to a show and reach out to Stevie, he'll reach right back at you. Tell the Covergirls how much you love them when you see them. You know when you tell them that you appreciate them, at the same time they are thinking about how much they appreciate you!
It's all real, and it's all love. Keep supporting freestyle and it's artists and they will keep supporting you by night after night giving 110% for each and everyone that'll listen.
Thanx....
Gmoney a.k.a. Tourboss

I doubt it will ever happen....I did see Collage, Cynthia, Lil Suzy a couple of years ago in Toronto...old skool freestyle isn't that big up here...most people didn't even know who Cynthia was....it's all Lil Suzy and Stevie B up here

thats cool looks its in the US this time (starting from August 5th - 20th) they got Vegas and San Diego which is in the US but thats still too far nothing near PA or NY?

in Toronto/Canada.... freestyle IS dead... as painfull as it is for me to admit. USA still got the shows, we don't... and even if we did, it would be a complete failure. I still love nad enjoy my freestyle...

TOURBOSS I'm glad you had a blast at the rush

Here in Canada it's Elissa, Joee, Rockell, Lil Suzy and Stevie B that's freestyle for you in Canada...and that's about the extent of it

I think the new class of Freestyle would definitely do well in Toronto. Depending on how our concert goes this weekend (different type of music, Caribbean Music Fest), we may decide to bring in a euro-freestyle concert in Toronto next summer. I would love to have Joee, Elissa, Zoe, Freda, Chris/Alexia/Kathy Phillips, Eva and Stevie B there along with euro acts (Sylver, Milk Inc, Lasgo, Special D). I have to see if financially we can fund this. Of course that is my artist wish list, doesn't mean I can get them to show up though.

Alexia Phillips is no longer in the freestyle scene...Chris Phillips doesn't sing anymore he manages Kathy's career and helps run Odeon

I know, but I would try to bring them back to sing for this concert. It would not seem right to me if I didn't try. (There is some history behind this)

I've seen Milk Inc, Lasgo, Sylver, Joee, Freida, Elissa all are great performers

Milk Inc knows how to put on a fantastic show 😀

Yes.. I think Milk Inc is one of the best when it comes to live shows... Special D and Scooter are like that too.. they really know how to get a crowd going...

Do you think a show like that would do well up there?
