I know this is an old post, but i was reading some of the comments especialy by Toni and martini. You guys sure like talking sh.. about artists, if it weren't for stevie freestyle would be nothing. Your saying that george lamond is better now thats bull when has he gone platinum, when has had a #1 billboard hit, dont get me wrong i like george but if your saying that stevie is not a freestyle genuis than that means that all other freestyle artist are nothing. Like i said im not bashing on the other artists, but give credit where credit is worth. I personally wrote to stevie about a year ago and he send my friend and me a free autograph picture of him, now that does not sound fan unfriendly to me. Maybe he just doesn't like your ass for talking so much sh.. but thats a whole different thing. just remember if your disrespecting Stevie B your disrespecting freestyle as a whole because he's the only one that i seen work so hard to keep freestyle alive, he has not jumped on the salsa bandwagon, not that i have anything against that it's just that he's been keepin it real for 17 years now. You showed that you have no knowledge and respect for freestyle music what so ever. Im sorry it's just that it realy pisses me off when people disrespect the artists that have been keeping our music alive, very childish.

I don't necessarily appreciate the comments made either. Web sites like this have people constantly asking, "What's this person been up to?" Maybe Stevie, whom I have yet to see on this board was trying to let people know what he has been up to.
This guys is definitely responsible for setting a place for freestyle in many people's hearts and minds. He's opened the door for freestyle to come into some people. Like freestyle Demon, I too was hooked to freestyle through Stevie's songs, indefinitely. The guy is a freestyle genius. On a DJing note, his BPM has remained low throughout the years, but that's ok 🙂 He can still be thrown into the mix indeed. 🙂
So be respectful. This man is partly-responsible for keeping this genre of music alive!

I agree with Demon and Edward. The people on this thread just like talking a lot of shit. Stevie's the man. He responded to an e-mail I sent him also. Sup Tino, well first of all people will always talke ish that will never change,i also agree with demon and edwards. Their is no other freestyle artists that has the same popularity as stevie he is an international superstar the fact remains that everyone that is aware and knows their freestyle, knows that Stevie B is and always will be the BEST freestyle artists in the planet, ofcourse people will have their favorites thats no problem we all have different taste but can't no one rock that ish like stevie NO ONE.

Yes Stevie B is great. He has done much for the genre of freestyle. This is not a Stevie B. bashing/hating thread. The jokes started because Stevie was talking about retiring from freestyle, then turned around two weeks later talking about how he was here to stay. Normally, when you talk retirement, you're in your 60's, which clearly isn't the case for Stevie B.
As for DJJoshuaEdward and freestyle Demon, they would come here and sing the praises of Stevie B, and then talk "rudely" about other artists. So part of that may have carried over here. Demon hasn't posted here since Dec 2002, Edward since Jan 2003.
As for paying for his fan club, I haven't tried to be in his fan club, so I can't talk about that.
