Hey all when the Mic Mac 360 tour cd came out there's an amazing song called "Radio" on it by an artist named Stephanie Pinedo. I recently purchased Mic Mac's Bangin Beats Then And Now and the song "Radio" is on Disc 2 but by Danielle Simeone. The songs sound identical. What's the deal?
 
I heard Stephanie Pinedo left micmac over contract disputes with Mickey Garcia. As for Danielle Simone ... I believe she's 18 now and was supposely discovered a long time ago by Mickey and he decided to use his "re-use/redo hits" formula and re-release the track again only this time with Danielle Simone singing the vocals.

You know that's dumb tho...that was Stephanie Pinedo's song why didn't he just create something new for Danielle Simone.
 
Danielle Simone does have a new song, she performed it at Backdrafts. It may be on the "Banging Beats Vol. 2" cd.
 
Danille has some new material and its hot the song that will be on bagin beats two the song is available for preview on micmacrecords.com

I agree it is dumb ... but hey Mickey has the habit of re-using "hit" songs. To tell you the truth, I'm really not feeling Danielle Simone as a freestyle artist though and I really thought Stephanie Pinedo was going to stick around but I guess things don't go the way they're planned.

btw, I heard from a few people who went to backdrafts that Danielle Simone is somewhat of a tease and a bit full of herself. Any truth to that?

Well, I didn't spend much time with her, but I did get the chance to meet Danielle at Backdrafts. She signed my cd insert that had her song "Radio" on it. She was very sweet and friendly to me.

I think it's "bad" in terms of introducing yourself as a new freestyle artist ... Mickey should of made up a brand new track for Danielle, one that would give her better exposure. There are still some people out there who still establish the song "radio" as being song by Stephanie Pinedo.
 
Hmmmm well I know of her cuz of the 360 tour cd...and I think she performed at a show that Zoe performed at...
