Special File Thank You's for Our Nu Image Weekend 5/1/04

Hello all,
I know there are many threads already about the Nu Image broadcast, but wanted my own to express our thanx and enjoyment we had this weekend. If this gets long, I apologize and apreciate your reading time.
Also, to clearify, Benny did not make it with us due to a family emergency.
We def missed ya bro as well as our other partners, JuneBug & TimDog !!!!!

Ok, where do I start?

Latino Mix---Although a Dj on Latino Mix 105.9, it was mine and Hightechs first time at the station. We had a great time being there with Nu Image, Pomp, Caesar, Dave Mendez, Diamond Boy Luis and a pleasure to meet the one and only, Baron Lopez. The phone calls coming in were funny as hell,lol....

H.M.V. Cd signing was off the hook! Nu Image sounded great and the people loved it. There were people there that we knew were'nt into that music, but felt the vibe. That was really cool to see. It was great to some familiar faces there, (please forgive me if I forgot you or your name)
so shouts to: Crystal, her 2 friends and her cool ass Dad, Cool Al From Queens, Taz, Vinnie, Del and the one who snuck out of work to get a peek, La Matrix !!!!!!!

The Stealth was a great club. Thanx to the owner and staff for the food and hospitality. Check them out at www.TheStealth.Com
Both Zoe and Nu Image performed and sounded great AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Although the broadcast wasn't perfect and the music the other djs were playing was def off topic, thanx to those who tune in.
Pomps boy, I think his name was DJ Chemical, was phat. The speaker problem after the show was an adventure in itself,lol...........
Special thanx to Mo for hooking up a last minute AOL chatroom.
Again, if I forget ya, forgive me. It was mad chaotic in there. Shouts and thanx to those who showed up. Ayna, Aby, Ashley, Exo, Elis Pacheco, Mickey Garcia, Mickeys girl, Nyasia, Diamond Boy Luis, Dave Mendez, HeartBrake (such a pleasure meeting you finally sweetie), Liz, Liz' friend,

Aria Studio Broadcast--In my opinion, the highlight of our weekend.
FANS---This was an unplanned broadcast and was about 3 hours late. When we finally struggled to get it going, it was great thibg to see people waiting in the aol chatroom Mo created for us. Hightech noticed it and put such a great smile on our faces to see, although very late, you guys stuck around till we got there. Thats a great reward, so thank you to our very faithful fans. Let me get this out the way first, we apologize for not so perfect broadcast again. It seemed great in the beginning and some how the sound got echoey (echoey, is that a word?,lol). The mics were up and down, so all in all, we had problems, but.....you guys, we love ya so much !!! You guys stood all the way till 3am (or as Tyree put it, 15 in da mornin') You guys are dear to us and thats why we go out of our way to take care of ya when we can.

In the house, we had DJ Soul, Dave Mendez, Vic, Tony G', Tyrees and their wives, Pompeo, Mate, Alex Zuniga, Zoe, Nyasia, and Safire.
Here are my personal thank you's for those who made our Saturday Broadcast that much more special, which I also speak on behalf of HighTech also.
Here we go:

SAFIRE--- I know you werent planning to go, but Im glad Nya got ya down there. It made my weekend to have ya at my show. To say the least, it was an honor and a pleasure. It was hard to get ya on the mic, but glad ya did anyways,lol. I selected to play some Disco because I knew we would all get off on that. To see my 2 favorite people hustling to the music was priceless. Safire and Nya can really get down, lol!!!!!!
Ya made everyones night, so thank you deeply.....Please say hello to your great huband for me and glad he loved the edits.
Its an honor & a pleasure to work with both of you.
By the way, I really do LOVE your hair !!!!

NYASIA--- I told before, I have never met a woman such as yourself. Great things are going to happen and you can't have better people on your side than Wilma & Kenny. I'm glad the song is finally finished and you gave us a preview with an awesome acapella of the new song. You know I love it and cant wait to get the final product to work on it. May 30th can't come quick enough to see ya perform to my showtape. The music in Souls car was just right....Again, Its an honor & a pleasure to work with you. Oh, I will send ya a bill for fixing your back,lol.....

ZOE--- What can I say sweetie. We hung out all weekend and it is such a pleasure knowing you. You sounded great and the 2 new songs were off the hook. Hey, the speed was right this time on your cd,lol. Excellent show @ Stealth. Thanx for doing the acapellas and we will see ya in Toronto in June.

Beauty and talent is only half of what we love about you ladies. You guys are great friends to us. Big kisses to you all !!!!!!

NU IMAGE--- again, what a talent !!!! Tony, Ty and Vic, you guys are truly awesome and know how to put on a great show. It is also our pleasure to be associated with you guys. To the top you guys will go for sure. Your hard work does'nt go unnoticed.You fellas are a class act, period !!!!!! To the Nu I wives, you ladies are great. Nice seeing you there

ALEX OF LATIN NATION--- always a blast seeing ya bro. Thanx for hanging out with us and the new song is great. Thanx for working the chatroom with us. Liked the "Poison" t shirt ya had on, lol. Poison edit mix,lol, nah !!!!!!!

DAVE MENDEZ--- the compliment Safire gave us was priceless to say the least. It has been christened and on that day, Saturday, May 1st, will be the beginning of a edit team consisting of you and I. We just have to wait for Safire to get us our new name,lol. The mix was hot and glad we were able to premiere it on the show. We have much work to do bro. Watch out for us in 2004 people.

MRS. DJ SOUL aka Jeff Gordon, It was cool to finally meet you after all those emails. You are def Old School and ya know your shi*t. You are beyond Funny as hell. Thanx for letting me hitch a ride with you and Nya. The ride was an experience to say the least. This girl can drive !!!!!!!!
Breakfast was fun and by the way, the House mix in the car was hot... Do you carry the registration in the car now,lol???? On that note, thanx to the New Jersey Trooper for letting us go at 3:30 am without a ticket or shall I say 3 tickets,lol. We owe ya some donuts Sir.....

MATE, first time I met ya bro and must say, your a great and talented brutha. Glad you were feeling my mixes and appreciated all the compliments ya gave me. Thanx for letting me premiere the new K7. That sh*t was slammin !!!!!!!

HEARTBRAKE--- although ya didnt make it to the broadcast, it was great to finally meet ya sweetie. Just wanted to thank you for hooking up with Liz to get to The Stealth. You are beautiful and hope you decide to make that move we spoke about. It's great to know ya. Thanx for coming and see ya at Latin Quarter in May.

Last but not least, POMPEO MESSANO for taking care of our flights, Limo, & putting us up in a great hotel.
You def went out of your way for us and we really appreciate that. We had a such a blast, but still recovering from the barage of champagne you put in front of our faces,lol. You are a true brutha and we felt like family. Thank you bro...

Dam I knew this was going to get long and apologize again, but just wanted to express my appreciation for this great weekend. Pete H., we missed ya..
