Jack, I heard the message, and do agree with 95% of what you said..The thing that does confuse me is this: Yes, you the man and who you ban is 100% up to you. However, you addressed the one who spoke of changing the name "Freestyle" , since the thread is gone, I am going by memory, wasn't there a "MOD" on that thread that agreed with him, and supported that change?? It's your game Jack, and you're doing A GOOD JOB. I have been involved with this business almost 20 years, have 6-7 Gold and Platinum albums on my wall. Therefore, i have VERY strong opinions , which I have earned, out of respect to you and the members, I try to stay within the rules, so time to time , as this, I may ask for clarification... *I know who you're referring to about the name changing thing. However, I feel you shouldn't let that bother you. Because when something is going to change, it will and you, me or the next guy can't do anything about it. Time changes and we can't change that right? Style of clothes, name brands, hairstyles, music, television programs and we all just go with the flow. So why take this so personal about "Freestyle" changing to "Latin Hip Hop"? That was the ORIGINAL name of "freestyle" before becoming officially "FREESTYLE". For all those born in the 60's know this for a fact.

*Now this person that was banned is a very good friend of mine. I will not talk bad about him because I'm NO hipocrate. I know how much "people" power this person has when it comes to the music industry. I've seen him do his thing over and over and over again. And has been very successful. If he isn't "anybody" today to people out there in the world, let's not get confused as to why. He chose his own path. He chose to be the person that he is today. He made the decisions. And now he's making new choices with his life. I support him 100% in all that he does. I know what he's up to as far as the music thing goes. And it's all a POSITIVE thing. Trust me.

*You as owner of Clubfreestyle.com didn't have to make any points to us regarding the situation of people registering again under alias names. We as CF members know how the game goes. We see it too Jack G. We may not have those special Mod features but you really don't have to when it's not too difficult to figure out that "ABC" used to talk a certain way, was banned and now we have a new member that's called "DEF" and writes/speaks/chats the same way as the last guy. You know what I mean? You just have some very ignorant people and the majority here are very respectful and smarter than that where we won't place ourselves in the predictament of getting banned. You have a good thing going on in here and this is your business. Members will come and go and still have their personal business and life outside of CF. But CF is yours. This is your life and your business. CF can and will change ONLY if you CHOSE to change it right? This is good here. And you get your props for it. You get support from everyone too.

I'm just neutral and have enough support to give to all my friends.
 
labettyboop i agree with you 100% baby. i love clubfreestyle, you guys are like family up in here but to lose legendary dj frankie cutlass because he had a postive idea for our music it's just crazy you know....

I agree with scottman and la Beety let the people who made the industry and have some Knowledge about the muisc do it.

JackG , I domt know you , but it seems that you are all about the $$ and could give a arats ass about the freestyle gengre. If it doesnt involve making $$ and charging people for their space on here.

I ask where is Johhny Budz he made the smartest move by leaving this site in the dust.

I agree with you LAbetty not because I am your daughter inlaw but I totally agree with you. Im sorry if any one elses gets offendid but this issue here is big, just because of a name some one gets banned and others want to leave now you have to ask what the hell is going on, I have recently had the honor of meeting Frankie Cutlass and hearing one of his beats and wow they are great and he is a funny man. Its a shame he got banned for believeing in something but unfortunatly that is how the world is today Freedom of Speech is our fifth amendmant and unfortunatly that amendmant is no use no where. People have to think about what they are doing and why they do it they also have to think about what they are saying when they are calling him a BLIND DICK, I ve been reading all of the threads and posting on many threads that Frankie has put up and never once did I see of him talking about ANYONE or Saying anything negative about anyone or disrespecting of the site. he only spoke about what he believed and got banned for it, and then on top of that he got his name disrespected.
Just stating my personal opinion. When people start leaving the majority rules. Therefore somebody is wrong!
 
i have to agree w/ you lilmsboop....i've seen quite a few people be banned just for stating an opinion that some people don't agree with. its unfair.

Thank You, but again, in spite of my own opinion, This is Jack G's house, I try not to offend, and state my opinion and not argue it.When I go into someone's house, I play by their rules, or I don't go. I think that is the best way..
 
Yet a moderator can get on and curse out another moderator (even if it was a satelite site or forum) and not feel any repercussions. They instead get more info and the ability to close a thread that is supposed to be about getting it off your chest?
That's halfassed any way you slice it. But this is your world, govern it as you wish. But respect is the real issue. Sometimes Jack, you forget how to deal with certain people and those certain people deserve more respect for building what you are profiting from. Period point blank. You come across like you are Tony Soprano and expect these grown men to stay shut to you. You take away their voice and let your mod's smear their names or you do it by the way you handle them (placing "banned" under their good well established name)..Like it's some big joke. You need to just erase his account and not humilate him that way. It's only a matter of time where this shit goes from the cyber thuggin that is taking place, to someone getting their ass handed to them at one of these events. Keep thinking we candy. There ain't nothing sweet about the disrespect some people try to dish out here. Nothing sweet.

Respect is earned as it is given. So I hope all you disrepectors are ready to recieve it like you give it.
