Holitas to my Miami boobi's:

I went to Emerald City to see my girl, Judy Torres...had a great time.

Picked up a young guy from NY,,,,he was soooo sweet even wanted to hold my purse while we were dancing.

NOW THAT'S A GENTLEMAN 4-YA..lmao.

Anyway, I only went once cuz it's too frkn far from home. AND since I like to have a couple of drinks and dance, the drive was too far....I'd be afraid of going 80 on I-95 and getting pulled over. With my PMS shit, I'd probably jump a redneck trooper and end up in jail....LOL

By the way...POWER96 has played 3 FS songs today.

The first one - when I tuned in was at 10:31 TKA-Louder than Love.
2nd - 1:15, I think it was Corina - Temptation
3rd - 2:40, DJ Laz' show Noel-Silent Morning.

After that I was too busy to listen to the radio.

I GUESS THEY'RE LISTENING.

I was in South Beach last year for WMC and I actually HEARD the damn song during one of their lunch time mixes .. they actually play it every once and a while on their lunch mix - along with several other Miami Classics ... like rare stuff from London Exchange and Erotic Exotic ...

Even though I'm up in Philly -- I've been following Power 96 in Miami VERY closely for the past 10 years or so !

And I do remember that Emerald City -- was there and had a great time !!!

DJ Dez: That day that you heard those old songs if my memory serves me right it was on a Wednesday lunch mix (Which normally is the day Jammin Johnny mixes) andddddddd, the DJ Mixing was none other than MR. JELLY BEAN BENITEZ.....He even mixed "ONE MORE SHOT" WHICH IS ONE OF MY FAV'S.

about 10 or 11 years ago, I had that records and a bunch of other 80/fs music and lent the peaches/crate to him (the freak head- for lack of better words) and since he was/IS still a DJ, he wanted to mix them in the club for a while....WELL, I GUESS THE WHILE TURNED TO BE A ANCIENT CUBAN WHILE, CUZ TILL 2-DAY I HAVE NOT GOTTEN BACK THE RECORDS.....MOFO,,,,I'LL GET THEM ONE DAY THOUGH...EVEN IF I'M 70 ...LMAO.

TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ABOUT HIM BEING TRUE OR NOT TO FREESTYLE? LETS JUST SAY HE IS NOT!!
HE'LL PLAY IT WHEN ASKED FOR AT A CLUB, BUT IF HE CAN GO THE WHOLE NIGHT W/O PLAYING IT, HE WOULD. HE IS JUST IN THE FREESTYLE DENIAL MODE-- CAN'T BLAME HIM FOR THAT. I ALWAYS BEEF (FRIENDLY)W/ HIM ABOUT THIS SAME THING.

I'LL GIVE HIM A CALL AND ASK HIM.

DJ ZOG RIPPED IT WITH THE FULL HOUR OF FREESTYLE-- IT SOUNDED OFF THE CHAINS JUST LIKE WHEN DJ RENE AND DIMAS USE T0 DO THE "FREESTYLE FRIDAY" MIXES EVERY WEEK. DID Y'ALL HEAR DJ DEF FILL IN LAST SATURDAY AT NOON FOR JOHNNY WHO WAS PROBABLY OUT RECOVERING FROM A HANG OVER. J/P... DEF RIPPED IT FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR WITH ALL FREESTYLE. SOUNDED GOOD. MAKE SURE EVERY ONE STAYS UP WITH E-MAILS. I E-MAILED ZOG & DEF FOR THEIR TIGHT MIXES- HOPE Y'ALL DO THE SAME.
