Ok..here ot goes... I was rather young when I heard this song...only some of the words come to mind but its one of those songs that is stored in my memory...
Opening lines of verse 1 are "When I was young, my papa told meeee/ Grow up and be haaappyy"
Then the chorus had something like "give back the love you gave (to?) me"
