I cannnot for the life of me remember who sings this song or what the name of the song is. I'm mostly interested in the lyrics though.

All I can remember is that it's a man singing it. It mentions something about "let's give it one more try", and then it says:

"forget the past, and let the memories fade away"...

anyone know the song and where I could find the lyrics to it?
